I'm Stacie, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As an LMFT, I approach therapy from a systemic perspective, which means I look at the bigger picture of your life and consider how your relationships, family experiences, and environment may be impacting the challenges you're facing today. While understanding the past can provide valuable context, our work is centered on helping you apply those insights in the present so you can move forward to healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I believe your therapy is tailored to you and what works best for you to get the most out of your therapeutic experience. Whether it's your first time, or coming back to therapy, I will help to make that transition easy and comfortable for you every step of the way of getting started. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard and understood. I also strongly believe it is a collaborative experience so that your thoughts, values and personal goals are included in what we work on every step of the way. But it's also okay if you don't know your personal goals, you don't have to have your reasons for coming to therapy figured out before you begin.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity and connection. I believe that genuine trust is built when both therapist and client are able to show up authentically in the therapeutic relationship. For me, this means creating a space where you feel comfortable being honest about your thoughts, feelings, needs, and experiences, without fear of judgment. It also means that at times I may gently challenge patterns, beliefs, or behaviors that seem to be standing in the way of your personal growth, while always respecting your pace and readiness for change. Connection is equally important in my work. Many people come to therapy feeling disconnected—from themselves, from their relationships, or from the life they want to be living. My goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic self, strengthen meaningful relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of what brings you fulfillment and happiness. I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and understood, because I know how powerful it can be to have a space where your experiences truly matter. Together, we can use that connection as a foundation for healing, growth, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, and figuring out your authentic self and finding genuine happiness. My goal is to help you develop practical coping strategies for managing life's stressors while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. Together, we work toward building confidence, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and genuinely fulfilling. I strive to help you feel empowered in your ability to navigate difficult circumstances while maintaining a strong sense of self and well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In your therapy, I used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills to help you learn to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that may be contributing to distress, and practice new ways of responding to situations. The goal is to develop healthier coping skills and create positive changes in emotions and behaviors.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy helps us understand how important relationships in your life have shaped the way you connect with others. Together, we'll explore how past experiences may still be influencing your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today, and we'll work on building healthier ways of trusting, communicating, and feeling supported.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is about finding balance between accepting yourself as you are and working toward positive change. We'll practice skills to help you manage strong emotions, communicate your needs effectively, cope with stress in healthy ways, and stay grounded during challenging moments.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy provides a space where both partners can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and needs in a supportive environment. We'll explore areas of conflict, identify patterns that may be creating distance or misunderstandings, and work on building healthier ways of communicating and connecting with one another.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT focuses on the emotions and relationship patterns that can leave people feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck. In therapy, we'll identify these patterns, explore the deeper feelings and needs underneath them, and work on building stronger, more secure emotional connections with yourself and others.
