Hello! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio. I received my Master's in Social Work from Ohio University and have been practicing for 6 years. I've helped individuals 5 to 65 years of age struggling with things such as various mood disorders, anxiety, and addiction become the best versions of themselves. Being trained as a Social Worker, I strongly believe that people should be treated with respect and care, regardless of their life circumstances. I am intentional when working with clients to partner with them in setting goals, changing behaviors, and addressing symptoms to help empower and encourage them to be the version of themselves they want to be.
Veterans and adults facing life altering internal struggles.... you're here to find solutions.
You’re here because something in your life feels heavy, confusing, or out of control and you’re ready for things to change. Whether it’s trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, poor anger skills, stress, overthinking, low confidence, or a mix of all of them, you don’t have to keep carrying this burden alone. These issues are common, but they’re also beatable when you have the right support and a clear plan forward.
I’ve worked with thousands of clients who felt stuck in self‑defeating beliefs, guilt, shame, or old patterns that drained the joy out of life. What I’ve learned is simple: when you reconnect with Hope, Purpose, and the strengths you’ve forgotten you have, things start to shift fast. You’re not broken; you’re overwhelmed. And overwhelmed people need support, not judgment.
I’m here to listen without judgment, help you make sense of what you’re facing, and guide you toward healthier perspectives that actually work in real life. I’m faith‑friendly for clients who want it, and fully comfortable with secular therapy for those who don’t. My job is to meet you where you are, not push you into a box.
I’m also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I’ll gladly work with Michigan fans too… but I can’t promise the same level of nonjudgmental neutrality I offer everyone else. :) And if you’re into grilling, I might even share a few Blackstone secrets along the way. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff — we can be real humans in the room together.
Hello! I'm so glad you're here, looking for someone to work with to help you heal and grow. It takes a lot of strength and courage to take this step and I hope you find just what you need. It is truly my honor to meet people where they are and collaborate with them in a meaningful way to help them get where they want to be in their lives. My end goal is to empower you with the tools and self-knowledge you need to make lasting, positive change in your life.
I became a counselor because I believe the pieces of our individual stories often become so tangled that it takes someone else to help us sort out and realign our lives. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision designation (LPCC-S). I have been in private practice for over a decade, primarily helping clients who are struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. I also work with individuals struggling with other issues including grief, trauma, and anxiety.

My name is Ta'Erra but most people just call me Tae. I started this journey as a therapist to make sense of the world I was living in but it became my passion when I began to see the fruit of healing in others' lives. I have had the chance to work with those experiencing mood disorders, relational issues, and trauma-related disorders. I have also worked with many who like to integrate their Christian beliefs into therapy. My goal is to help you understand the impact that life experiences have had on shaping how you see yourself, others, and the world. I use EMDR, Experiential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Hi, I'm Rachel Richard! With over 25 years of experience as a licensed counselor, I specialize in helping people manage anxiety and depression, overcome trauma, and navigate life's everyday challenges. I hold a Master's Degree in Community/Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and I am licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. My commitment lies in providing evidence-based practices that help clients manage their emotions and reduce unhelpful thought patterns while empowering them to confidently cope with life's challenges and achieve their goals. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, with specialties in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. For those open to a more holistic approach, I also incorporate Somatic Therapy to connect both mind and body.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have worked with offenders, anger management clients, couples, teens and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Through a strengths based approach, my clients learn more about themselves thus improving self-confidence, communication, mood and overall outlook on life. I love serving my teen and couples clients via the Gallup strengths test. This test helps individuals understand where their energy is highest and what they value most. It's not about "strengths", but values. I believe one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take the time to truly understand ourselves as this helps us learn to communicate effectively, be productive, overcome procrastination and more. This is one tool of many I enjoy using to help my clients.
Welcome! I'm Leigh.
I know many people are working to do their best while balancing burnout, anxiety, and the feeling that “the world is on fire.” I work with you to build self-compassion, sustainable changes, and a life that includes not only surviving, but finding moments of joy, confidence, and acceptance of who you are and how your brain works.
With a neurodivergent, trauma-informed lens, I work to make my clients feel supported and heard, and focus on your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. The goal is always to help you understand how your brain works best, whether that is learning how to navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, and/or lack of motivation, and develop concrete steps to take action towards a life with joy, confidence and being unapologetically yourself.
I was raised in a working class family of five children in New Jersey where the 4th of the five of us was adopted. I am the oldest of the five. I retire May 2026 as the Grace F. Brody Professor of Parent-Child Studies at the Mandel School (Social Work), Case Western Reserve University. I have been an educator since 1987 and practice with families, mostly office based starting in 1988, then home based, and with the new technologies I have been working virtually.
I am a licensed social worker in Ohio. I was previously licensed in Iowa. I have worked in residential treatment for children and outpatient mental health for adolescents and adults.
Since 1991 I have been involved in various child welfare technical assistance, research and training projects in the US (Oklahoma, Iowa, Ohio, Maryland), Romania, India, Ukraine, Guatemala and Ethiopia. In addition to my Master's of Social Work, I have a Doctorate in Sociology and Honorary Doctorate from the West University of Timisoara, Romania.
I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. In order to make changes in your life, you have to be willing to put in the effort. It is my goal to make my clients feel comfortable and safe because this is where you are going to get the most change and progress. Coming to counseling is a very personal step. One that you should feel hopeful about. Many clients say they are nervous about their first session. To combat those feelings, I assure you that I will listen, provide a space for you to process your feelings, explore your thoughts and behaviors and provide strategies and techniques to help reach your goals. With no judgement.
I seek to provide culturally competent counseling to all individuals. I will be walking with you as you process life situations and how they have affected you. I have experience working with individuals, children, families, couples, and groups in a number of settings.
I look forward to working with and meeting you!
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of who you are outside of all the roles that you carry- you're not alone. Whether you are navigating the challenges of motherhood, adjusting to life transitions, or simply longing for a space to breathe and reconnect with yourself, I'm here to support you.
As a person-centered therapy, I believe every woman holds the capacity to make active changes in their life that bring long lasting growth. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy and authenticity - creating a space where you can be seen, heard, and valued.

Hey there! :)
I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory distinction (LISW-S) based in central Ohio. I earned my MSW from The Ohio State University and have spent the past decade doing what I love most—helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
My journey began as a trauma specialist working with children in Treatment Foster Care and adoption in inner-city Columbus. At the same time, I supported children, young adults, and families in Worthington, Ohio, helping them find balance and connection in their daily lives. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for supporting parents—especially those navigating the emotional waves of infertility, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and the beautifully complex world of parenting.
These experiences sparked a deep commitment to working with women to identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and step fully into their potential. I find so much joy in connecting with people from all walks of life, and I've had the privilege of working in urban, suburban, and rural communities. My current practice—and my roots—are in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Ohio.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud animal lover, plant enthusiast, and people-person through and through. I believe in the power of humor, honesty, and human connection—and I’m here to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your journey.

I support and assist clients who want to make a positive difference in their lives by drawing on my clinical experience, compassion, and empathy. I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients to listen and develop skills to effectively manage symptoms in order to improve everyday functioning.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and I have over three decades of walking alongside people who have or are experiencing the hardships this life often delivers. I consider myself to be a change agent and my areas of expertise include trauma, grief and loss, end of life issues, parenting concerns, anxiety, and depression. I use evidenced based practices including (but not limited to) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Have you experienced life events that have left you with flashbacks, trouble sleeping, intrusive memories, or emotional triggers that disrupt your daily life? Trauma can leave lasting effects on both the mind and body, making it difficult to cope or feel like yourself again. You may find yourself longing for hope and a return to more stable daily functioning, yet feeling overwhelmed by the impact of what you’ve been through. These experiences can stem from accidents, abuse, disasters, or even the demands of intense occupational roles, and can often leave you feeling isolated and alone. I offer nearly four years of trauma-informed counseling experience, with a background in both community mental health and residential psychiatric care. In our sessions, we will focus on understanding how trauma impacts your daily functioning while building practical skills to support effective coping. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered.
Life can feel heavy sometimes—and trying to hold it all together gets exhausting. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break, you’re not alone. I help adults work through anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship challenges in a way that feels real, supportive, and actually helpful. My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all—we focus on what you need and what works in your day-to-day life. No pressure, no judgment—just a space to process, gain clarity, and move forward. My goal is simple: help you feel more like yourself again, but stronger, more confident, and in control.
I am passionate about supporting others in improving their wellbeing. I have been a dedicated mental health therapist for the past 9 years. I have provided therapy multiple settings including school-based and outpatient community agency collaborating with substance abuse clinicians. I have worked with children in a variety of settings for over 20 years. Before becoming a therapist, I was a preschool teacher and residential therapy technician for autistic youth. I've been a licensed mental health provider for the past 8 years, working with clients in community and school based settings. Now, I'm focusing on adolescent and adult clients who are looking for support to learn about themselves and determine how they want to participate in their lives- this may include learning emotional regulation skills, finding new perspectives, coping with mental health symptoms, or improving their relationships.
I’m a clinical psychologist based in Ohio who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, identity concerns, and the pressure to “have it all together.” I take a genuinely collaborative approach to therapy and put a lot of care into building a strong, trusting relationship where you don’t have to censor yourself.
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which means we’ll focus less on “fixing” or fighting your feelings and more on getting clear about your values and building a life that feels meaningful to you. Instead of trying to shut emotions down, I help clients learn how to make space for feelings, respond with compassion, and use practical coping skills to stay present and move toward what matters most.
I’ve spent much of my career working with college and graduate students, so I’m familiar with the unique stressors of academic life, emerging adulthood, and major life transitions. I approach therapy through a lens of cultural humility, actively honoring how your race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, religion or spirituality, class background, and other identities shape your experiences. I work to create a space where your culture and identities are not just “respected,” but meaningfully integrated into our work together, and where your values and lived experience guide our goals and the way we move through therapy.
As a Certified Geek Therapist, I enjoy working with clients whose “geeky” interests—like video games, anime, superheroes, board games, and TTRPGs—are a meaningful part of their lives. Together, we can use your fandoms and favorite stories as tools for insight, coping, and growth, treating them as strengths rather than quirks you have to hide in therapy.
Every client is unique and is facing their own distinctive challenges. Therefore each treatment plan should be personalized and individualized. An ideal client is one who comes to counseling with an open mind and is ready to try new approaches and coping skills. Each person will benefit differently from a wide variety of approaches. Together we can and will find the right strategies that work best for you. There is not a "normal" or "standard" cookie-cutter path. It is a journey! I have experience working with issues as grief, anxiety, anger, mood, neurological, trauma, relationship issues, substance use disorders, and more.
I am dually independently licensed and passionate about providing the utmost quality of services to people struggling with mental health, substance use disorders and dual diagnoses. I have over 10 years of practice, including a wide array of experience, working with clients of all age groups individually, with couples and in groups.
The therapeutic environment is a safe place for clients and their families to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, existential, EMDR, and Person-Centered treatment interventions and I have found that when using these interventions, people begin to realize the strength to overcome challenges.

I began my career as a child protective investigator in 2010, transitioned into mental health case management in 2014, and have been working as a psychotherapist since 2016. I’ve owned my own solo private practice since 2020 and enjoy working from home with my dachshund, Gretchen Wieners, who occasionally joins sessions to say hello.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life stressors, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is warm, direct, and trauma-informed, creating a space where clients can process difficult experiences, build effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Anxiety & Sleeplessness
Fear, insomnia, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we work towards increasing sleep time, decreasing panic or anxiety attacks or symptoms, fully understanding where overwhelming emotions stem from, and how to move towards being your best self.
Relationships
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
Trauma and Healing
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after post-traumatic events. We work together through these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
I am a therapist with over 25 years of experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing grief, life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and grounded in helping clients feel heard while building practical tools for healing and growth. I also have experience in hospice work, supporting clients and families through serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and the grief process with care and sensitivity.
