New to Grow
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile. I’m glad you’re here. Are You Ready To Be Triumphant? I have 18 years of experience in Behavioral Health. I have been licensed for 15 years as a professional counselor. I offer mental health therapy and substance abuse counseling. My practice is guided by the mission to help clients “To Raise Inner Understanding, Move Past Hurts, And Navigate Tomorrow,” I am committed to offering a caring, compassionate environment that supports personal growth, healing, and lasting change. I always treat my clients with trauma informed care and several treatment modalities to ensure the best outcomes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
A warm welcome and space to settle in. It is important to see if the connection feels right for you. Meeting your therapist for the first time can be overwhelming but exciting at the same time. I like to begin with introductions, so my client is able to learn about me before I begin to learn about them. We’ll start by getting comfortable. I’ll explain confidentiality, your rights as a client, and answer any questions so you know exactly what this space is and isn’t. You don’t have to share everything at once. We go at a pace that feels safe for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is meeting my clients where they are and allowing them to human. I am very genuine and caring in my approach.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you’re living with anxiety that causes a disruption in daily life, depression that makes even small tasks feel heavy, or trauma that still shows up in your body and thoughts long after the traumatic event. I want you to know something: you are not alone, and you are not too much. You are worth Healing. I specialize in working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in survival mode. Together, we’ll gently process what’s weighing on you at your pace. You won’t be rushed, judged, or minimized here. My role is to create a space where you feel safe enough to exhale and strong enough to heal. With 18 years of experience in behavioral health, I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to help you understand your patterns, regulate intense emotions, and rebuild trust in yourself. But therapy with me isn’t just about techniques — it’s about connection. I listen carefully. I ask thoughtful questions. I help you make sense of your story in a way that empowers you rather than defines you. If you experience excessive worry, stress, or fear we’ll work on calming your nervous system and challenging the thoughts that keep you stuck. If depression has dimmed your spark, we’ll focus on restoring hope, structure, and meaning. If trauma has shaped how you see yourself or others, we’ll move gently — building safety first, then resilience to develop a life worth living. Choosing a therapist is deeply personal. You deserve someone who sees your strength even when you can’t, who honors your lived experience, and who believes healing is possible for you — not just in theory, but in real life. If you’re ready to “Raise Inner Understanding, Move Past Hurts, and Navigate Tomorrow,” I would be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to do this alone anymore.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and reducing impulsive or self-defeating behaviors. Through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness strategies, I support clients in balancing acceptance of where they are with meaningful steps toward change.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to create a collaborative, judgment-free space where clients feel heard and respected and not judged. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmation, I help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and move toward meaningful, self-directed change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. By building practical coping strategies and reframing distorted thinking, so we can see progress together.
