I am a student who also works in the field. I understand the stress that people can experience as they deal with their daily lives. We all experience stress and depression in different ways, and I hope to help my clients understand that they are not alone in the world and that focusing on positive ways to overcome these issues can help improve their lives and relationships.
First sessions are critical in getting to know one another. The initial session (intake) is a great way for me to better understand your concerns and needs, which will help us work together effectively. Building a rapport is essential in the therapeutic process to help work on your goals together.
I believe life experiences and education help me to provide a more insightful experience for each client. As we get to know one another, we can build a rapport that allows the client to feel safe and acknowledge that they can share without fear of rejection or dismay. The therapy process is non-biased and should remain without feelings of guilt or shame.
I am a video gamer, student, and dog dad. I enjoy spending time relaxing with my pups and watching TV with them. I enjoy playing on the Xbox or PlayStation, and I am aware of the connection between video games and stress relief. I am also a student who enjoys working with AI and understanding the advancements of technology. I am also a big PC builder who enjoys upgrading and building my own PCs.
Working with CBT we can achieve goals to modify behaviors that may cause mental health issues in a person's life. Cognitive behavioral therapy can benefit many clients to make changes in their life that can be instrumental in finding joy in their lives and families.
Cognitive Processing Therapy helps the client change how they perceive an issue and focuses on the cause-and-effect relationship of the issue. In this process, we refocus our thoughts and reframe our current beliefs, as well as how we can approach them more positively.
