Therapy can be a frightening, overwhelming process, yet one of the most rewarding and life changing experiences of your life. It allows you to be you, share your thoughts and feelings without judgement, feel safe, gain insight into your thought process, your behaviors, and learn to be in control of your overall experiences. Through your strengths and weaknesses, you will learn to embrace each and every experience, and you will gain the knowledge to make the changes you need to achieve your goals. You will find the power within you to bring fulfillment to your life journey.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people, couples, and families grow, and learn what they need to have a more fulfilling life experience. I will listen to your life experience. I will listen to your challenges. I will work with you on reaching your goals or helping you identify your goals in order for you to feel successful in our therapeutic process.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or noticing patterns that keep repeating, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I bring nearly 11 years of experience and take a whole-person approach. I support my clients through issues such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. I understand trauma as something that can stem from single events, repeated experiences, or complex family and relational dynamics, often layered over time. Depression and anxiety are often shaped by how we come to see ourselves through our relationships and experiences in the world. You don’t have to navigate this alone. My goal is to help you find clarity, relief, and a deeper sense of yourself along the way.
Hello, I'm Georgina!
I have had numerous experiences and training opportunities throughout my career. I have served as Lead Pediatric Therapist, Group Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked in both intensive inpatient settings and with people with mild, temporary issues. I am licensed in Nevada and California and am certified in several evidence-based practices. Feel free to send me a message to see if we might be a good fit.
I am a compassionate and direct therapist who prioritizes building REAL CONNECTION. My approach is anti-diet and rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) and LGBTQ+ affirmative care. I went through my own journey to heal my relationship with food and my body, and for the past 13 years, have centered my career around helping others do the same. I strive to offer therapy that is grounded in connection, knowledge, and authenticity in order to help my clients develop healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and themselves. I passionately believe my clients CAN experience FREER and FULLER lives.
As a Latina therapist and first-generation American, I bring my whole heart to our work together! My approach centers around YOU—your experiences, your strengths, and your vision for growth. I believe that while I have therapeutic knowledge, you're truly the expert on your own life.
I blend various approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to create a personalized path forward. Whether you're navigating anxiety, processing grief, or seeking more joy and balance, we'll find the tools that resonate most with your unique story.
When I'm not connecting with clients, you'll find me dancing (my favorite stress-reliever!) or creating memories with my daughter, who teaches me daily about resilience and authentic connection.
I'm genuinely excited to be part of your journey—to celebrate your victories, big and small, and to support you through challenges with warmth, cultural understanding, and unwavering belief in your capacity to heal and thrive.
Hi I am Kao, I firmly believe that as humans we have an innate desire for growth and balance. Unfortunately, often we physically respond to ingrained negative cues and messages that get stuck in our body. Many times these old cues manifest themselves in our body as anxiety, depression, and other trauma responses. It can feel like we are living life just trying to cope with the loudness of these negative messages. What if instead of just gaining tools to “cope” with these trauma responses, we could eliminate them all together? How might your life look? My hope is that in our work together we will be able to address wounds and move towards healing so that you don’t have to “cope” anymore. Instead you can thrive and have a sense of self-awareness that brings constant peace and clarity.

Along life’s journey, we can experience feelings of sadness, confusion, fear, self-doubt, anger, shame, loneliness, distrust and uncertainty in ourselves, others and/or society at large. At times, past trauma, grief and fear can be activated, leaving us feeling stuck, or leading us to impulsive and/or unhelpful decisions to change the way we feel-at least in the moment. If you’re encountering emotions, behaviors or patterns that leave you, your relationships, and/or life goals out of alignment with what you hope for, I invite you to partner with me in a compassion-based therapeutic space. My approach is to support you in moving through your challenges with greater ease, finding and discerning your truths, uncovering additional strengths, gaining practical skills, and enlivening a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your life.

I have 11 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and intimate partner violence.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the spirit of Humanistic therapy. Humanistic Therapy is based on the core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. In therapy, this belief leads me to focus on each individual’s unique point of view and how this view can impact their choices. It further emphasizes the importance of being our authentic selves to live the most fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment to help clients feel comfortable to express their thoughts/emotions. I am genuine, friendly, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe I am easy to talk to as I am casual in my style, but direct and focused when it comes to our work together.
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own therapy that I received as a youth and young adult; it was life-changing. I worked with a therapist that was completely accepting and non-judgmental of my faults/shortcomings and helped me work past and accept them. Because of this experience, I wanted to give back and provide the same nonjudgment safe space, and acceptance to others.

The last four years have been challenging foor all of us. COVID came into our lives and altered the way we lived and worked. Many of us spent possibly a year or two in partial isolation, seeing only our closest friends and family members. Now, it is 2025 and we are wanting to get our old style lives back, but this transition has been difficult to accomplish. So far, 2025 has not been a peaceful year. You may believe you have not grown in the past 2-3 years, lost confidence and become more anxious. My goal is to assist you in believing in yourself again. Your negative self talk needs to be replaced with positive affirmations, thoughts and actions.
Anxiety, both social and life skill focused, along with depression, loss of self confidence or self esteem, and not understanding how these negative beliefs began. Many of us have anger over lost time, along with irritation.
Now, as you look in the mirror, you want to begin to be the brave person you once were. You want to be social, travel and feel the joy again that life used to offer.
My work and yours also, is to help you find your confidence to begin the life you thought you lost.
Please feel free to contact me so we can begin your new journey.

I look forward to meeting you.
I have worked in private practice and the school systems providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) for almost 25 years. During this time I founded a small business where my team and I provide these mental health services individually and in groups on-site to school districts all over Sonoma County, CA. I love working with children k-12 and their families. I have worked in non-public schools, public schools, and privately with at-risk youth and their families. This has been my passion my whole career.
I have been married to my lovely wife for 18 years, together for 24 years and we have two beautiful children. Our son is 13 and our daughter is 10. I enjoy all things outdoors. I surfed competitively in my youth and I love mountain biking, snowboarding and anything that has to do with water, but my main love is spending time with my family.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who helps adults heal from anxiety, trauma, burnout, and painful relationship patterns using EMDR therapy and a mind-body approach. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt, overwhelm, or disconnection- appearing “fine” on the outside while feeling anything but on the inside. My goal is to create a safe, grounding space where you can explore what’s beneath the surface, release what’s been weighing you down, and reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of my work. It’s an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Through gentle bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), the mind can integrate painful experiences in a more adaptive way. Clients often describe EMDR as life-changing- it allows healing to occur on a deeper, neurological level, often when talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough. My style is collaborative, intuitive, and compassionate—I’ll meet you exactly where you are, while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll help you feel safe in your body, clear in your mind, and at peace within yourself.
Do you wonder if your life could feel better than it currently does? I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, including postpartum anxiety and depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and other life challenges.
In this therapeutic process, we work together to help bring you closer to what truly matters to you and help create change and healing in your life. I use evidence-based techniques, which includes EMDR along with a variety of other treatment modalities. I am EMDR Trained and currently working toward EMDR certification as well.
Therapy can help you create a sense of safety and nurturing within, whether you’ve lost that feeling along the way or never had it to begin with. I strongly believe in the brain’s tendency towards resilience and its innate ability to heal itself with support. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, open-minded, and respectful environment, and I believe that a collaborative relationship is critical to therapeutic success. Let’s work together to help you find the healing you are needing. Here is my website if you want to read more about what I offer: www.SamanthaStermonTherapy.com

I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self esteem, confidence, & depression. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I help adults who are struggling, become the best version of themselves at their own pace.
Hi there! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I’ve spent over 10 years helping children, teens, adults, and families work through life’s challenges and find new ways to thrive. Over the years, I’ve learned that there’s no single “right” way to heal—what works for one person might not work for another. That’s why I take time to get to know you and what feels most helpful for where you are in your journey.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from several evidence-based approaches—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, behavior modification, and mindfulness—to create a plan that fits your unique needs.
In our work together, we’ll explore all the parts of your life that impact your well-being—your relationships, physical health, environment, and even your faith or spirituality if that’s important to you. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered with practical tools to manage stress, strengthen relationships, and build a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Are you feeling drained and challenged by one or more relationships in your life?
I will help you recognize and break unhealthy or unsupportive relationship patterns, identify your needs, feel more empowered to navigate the natural ups and downs that exist within relationships and learn how to set healthy boundaries.
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for nearly 15 years. I am passionate about helping individuals learn and develop the skills necessary to support a life that is healthy and fulfilling. Participation in therapy can help one gain insight, find clarity, replace self-defeating patterns with more supportive ones, build on strengths, learn new skills, and improve relationships.
Relationships are a central part of our lives and can be challenging to navigate. Let me help you learn the skills to create more fulfilling connections.
