New to Grow
Kercell has been a therapist for 3 years. His primary approach to therapy is Narrative Therapy. Kercell believes everyone has a story and everyone has the ability to overcome obstacles that are hindering them from reaching their goals. Along with Narrative Therapy, Kercell believes the key to a health relationship is effective communication. Kercell's favorite part of therapy is seeing individuals and couples achieve their goals. In Kercell's free time, he enjoys hosting social events and creating memorable moments with his wife and kids.
In the first session, you will be given assessments for the purpose of identifying your needs and support. You will be informed on the style and atmosphere of Kercell's approach to therapy and collaboratively you and Kercell with identify goals and create a treatment plan.
Kercell brings empathy and no judgement. In Kercell's session, he will like for potential clients to know that it is a safe space.
The ideal client is anyone ready to make a change. Many people say that change is hard. However, change is not hard, actually change is constant. Things are always changing. What is hard is the willingness to change. Question Kercell might ask in session is, "What would it look like, if you woke one morning and the issues, challenges, and/or barriers that are impacting your life, went away." What would you do? Who would you tell? How would you know your life would be better?
Kercell allows clients to share there stories and together Kercell and the client will explore what in their lives has been set as fixed and unchangeable. Then together that fix story is broken down and changed, which allows a unique outcome to grow.
