I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist, complemented by my background as a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. My clinical training includes a Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality, which informs my understanding of how diverse life experiences shape individuals’ perspectives and interactions with their environments. This foundation allows me to approach therapy with cultural humility and a deep appreciation for the complexities of identity and systemic influences.
In my practice, I utilize a person-centered, solution-focused approach that prioritizes client autonomy and self-determination. I collaborate closely with clients to identify their unique challenges and barriers, empowering them to develop realistic and meaningful short-term and long-term goals. Together, we explore and optimize the therapeutic tools that clients have already been using, while considering the introduction of additional strategies when appropriate. My goal is to support clients in creating actionable plans that align with their values and aspirations, fostering resilience and sustainable growth in both their present lives and future endeavors.

Hi! I’m Dr. Kelly Horton, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping people reach their goals related to greater peace, healthier relationships, self-understanding, emotional balance, and personal growth. My journey into psychology and the field of therapy began with curiosity about the “whys” of human behavior—why people respond the way they do, what helps some people become resilient, and how healing relationships are built after trauma or dysfunction.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward? I work with adults and couples who are seeking greater clarity, connection, improved communication, and emotional balance. Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, or patterns that no longer feel sustainable, therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself and your relationships.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen communication and coping skills, and create a path forward that feels supportive, practical, and meaningful. I’m passionate about helping clients understand themselves more deeply, strengthen connection, and break cycles that no longer serve them.

I’m Melissa Lapides, and my work centers around attachment. If you’re dating or in a relationship, we’re going to look at how your early experiences shaped the way you connect, protect, pursue, withdraw, or repeat the same patterns over and over. Together, we make sense of why you’re experiencing the challenges you’re having — not from a place of blame, but from understanding. I work with both individuals and couples to help them build more harmonious relationships rooted in emotional safety, secure connection, and real love and intimacy. When you understand your attachment style and nervous system, your relationship patterns stop feeling confusing and start feeling workable.
I’m warm, direct, and grounded — think compassionate but honest. I’ll hold space for your pain, and I’ll also gently call you forward when you’re ready. I believe most struggles make sense in the context of your story and your nervous system, not because something is “wrong” with you. My goal is to help you feel more regulated, more connected, and more empowered in your relationships and your life. Healing doesn’t have to be dramatic — it can be steady, real, and deeply transformative.

I use an integrative, person-centered approach while my clinical work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT) therapy, Solution-Focused, mindfulness, play therapy, and creative expression. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we can work together to explore difficult emotions, develop self-awareness, and build tools for communication and self-empowerment.
On a personal note, I am a mother of two young children navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood. I enjoy spending as much time as I can outside, hiking, doing yoga, working out, reading and baking.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are. I work with older adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and loss, chronic illness, relationship and family challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I want to understand not only what you’re struggling with, but who you are and what matters most to you.
My background includes providing therapy across a range of settings, including clinical mental health, private practice, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and community-based programs. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating epilepsy, chronic health conditions, and the emotional and life challenges that can accompany them.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, life transitions, and patterns that can leave them feeling stuck or disconnected. My style is warm, down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I listen deeply without judgment while also offering honest reflection, insight, and practical tools to help you create meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy believing something is wrong with them. I approach things differently. I believe our emotional struggles, coping strategies, and relationship patterns often make much more sense when we understand the experiences that shaped them. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, I help clients become curious about what is happening beneath the surface, why certain patterns developed, how they may have helped you cope or protect yourself, and whether they are still serving you today.
Therapy with me is a place where you can show up as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out, know exactly what to say, or pretend that everything is okay. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-understanding, reconnecting with your strengths, developing healthier ways of coping and relating, and creating changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in your life.
Life can be overwhelming, and healing is never one-size-fits-all. I meet you where you are with deep empathy and zero judgment, while bringing genuine teamwork and mutual accountability to our work. Drawing from my background in endurance running and competitive powerlifting, I view therapy much like training: lasting change takes patience, consistency, and active practice.
With experience across community mental health and school settings, I provide strengths-based, evidence-driven care for adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Together, we’ll gain better understanding of our patterns and build practical strategies to help you navigate life’s transitions with confidence and resilience.
I’m Cassandra White, LCSW, and I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but struggle to change. I am a trauma educator, licensed therapist, healer, author, speaker, and executive coach. My purpose is to help people transform their own trauma wounds into personal growth and resilience and reconnect with the truest version of themselves—what I call our Original Blueprint®. I live in the SF Bay Area and enjoy taking road trips around Northern California. I love animals of all kinds, love being in nature, and love spending time with my life partner, family, and friends. Hi! I'm Dr. Carolynn Gray, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 15+ years of experience in mental health. People who work with me get a lot of clarity about the next steps in their mental health journey, confidence that they are doing what they can to reach their goals, and tools for navigating mental health needs in the complex and ever-changing world we live in.
Many people come to therapy struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, painful relationships or difficult life transitions. You may feel overwhelmed and exhausted from trying to hold everything together, or frustrated that despite your best efforts, the same feelings or patterns keep returning. You may find yourself searching for answers and wondering, “Why do I feel this way? Why does this still hurt so much?”
The symptoms that bring you to therapy matter, and finding relief is important. But they can also be the beginning of a deeper understanding. Together, we'll look beneath what is happening now to understand the experiences, patterns, and ways of coping that may have developed for good reasons but are no longer serving you as well as they once did.
I believe healing begins with understanding, deepens through awareness, and becomes more lasting when both the mind and body are invited into the process.
After more than 30 years as a therapist, one truth has become increasingly clear to me: meaningful change rarely comes from simply telling ourselves to think differently or try harder. It grows from understanding how our experiences have shaped the way we think, feel, relate, and respond. With greater understanding comes greater choice: the ability to respond differently to yourself, to others, and to life's challenges.
Whether you're seeking relief from what hurts right now, looking for answers, or trying to find a way forward when life has become painful or overwhelming, therapy can offer a place of solace, understanding, and hope. Together, we can work toward easing what is causing you pain while helping you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more fully alive, with greater clarity and confidence about how you want to move forward.
Life is a journey. It takes courage to embark on a journey toward healing. Therapy is an opportunity to learn about yourself and work on the concerns you feel you need to strengthen. I strongly believe in providing individuals with a safe, non-judgmental space.

Hi! I am an eclectic therapist. I tend to pull different methods from different theoretical modalities (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral, Client-Centered, Gestalt, Solution-Focused, and more) because I do not believe in a One Size Fits All for therapy. Different people work in different ways. I am flexible and like to learn more about each client before deciding on specific ways to work with them and follow their lead.
I like to use humor and make clients smile. I believe it is important to focus on strengths and will provide suggestions/assign homework.

I’m Cory Sullivan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained at the University of Southern California. I’m passionate about helping people find their “new normal” after traumatic injury or chronic illness, and I bring both clinical and lived insight into the grief and identity shifts that can follow. I take an eclectic, integrative approach to anxiety and depression, blending practical tools, psychoeducation, and collaborative support. My clients know they don’t have to face this alone — we work through it together.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychology and psychological assessment. I earned my doctorate from Loma Linda University and completed clinical training at several leading hospitals across Southern California. My work centers on how the brain, physical health, and emotional well-being shape one another, and I bring that lens to therapy with adults who want to understand what is driving their difficulties and make changes that last. I work with adults across the lifespan facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. My clinical interests include neurocognitive changes, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, neurological and medical conditions, and the complex relationship between cognitive functioning and emotional well-being. In practice, this often means helping clients adjust to a new diagnosis, cope with memory or attention concerns, chronic illness, or grief, and manage the strain of caregiving. My approach is integrative and goal-oriented. I draw on cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and humanistic therapies, matching the method to you rather than fitting you to one model.

I also support clients (ASD or not) with addiction concerns ranging from porn to alcohol and many other drugs. I enjoy my work and ensure that my clients never feel judged and leave feeling empowered to make the changes that are essential for their life.

I’m a therapist who genuinely enjoys getting to know people and understanding what makes them who they are. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, chronic pain, trauma, life transitions, or sometimes just feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.
My approach is collaborative and flexible because I don’t think therapy should look exactly the same for everyone. I draw from approaches like ACT, CBT, DBT, attachment-based and psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing depending on what you’re working through and what feels useful to you. Sometimes that means learning practical tools or finding a different way to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions. Other times, it means slowing down and looking at patterns, relationships, past experiences, or the things that may be happening underneath the surface.
I want therapy to feel comfortable, honest, and real. You may come in knowing exactly what you want to work on, or you may need some time to figure that out. Either way, we’ll start with what feels important to you and go from there.
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people—their stories, their emotions, and the quiet places where they carry their pain.
After experiencing my own seasons of grief and change, I realized how powerful it can be to have someone walk beside you through it. Becoming a therapist felt less like a decision and more like a calling to offer the support I once needed myself.
Today, I’m honored to hold space for others as they navigate loss, healing, and the search for themselves again.
I am a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience helping adults navigate emotional distress, relationships, major life transitions, and questions of meaning and purpose. I work especially well with adults and older adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, aging, marital difficulties, or existential concerns.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and conversational. I want therapy to feel like an honest human encounter. I listen without judgment and offer observations and questions that can help you see patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe meaningful change begins when people feel genuinely understood and safe enough to speak openly.
In addition to psychotherapy, my professional background includes supervising clinicians, facilitating men’s support groups, and working extensively with individuals and families affected by developmental disabilities. I welcome clients from diverse cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds.
Do you feel held back by experiences you can't seem to move on from? Do you know your goals, but struggle to find the path to get there? Are you looking for a space to better understand yourself, your past, and the person you want to be in the future?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, and substance use. I am here to help you dive into understanding not only how to grow in the present, but also what pieces have come together to create the person you are today. We don't exist in a vacuum, therefore I take a holistic approach that works with the confluence of mental, social, and cultural factors surrounding each individual.
One of the most difficult parts of therapy is choosing to begin. Congratulations for making it this far. I would be overjoyed to walk alongside you as you continue on this journey of growth and self-love.
Nice to meet you!

Hello, I'm Laura Hansen, a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals find healing and growth. I am based in San Diego, California. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding and collaboration. I see my role as providing you with a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, life transitions or relationship issues, I'm here to help you develop the tools to further your emotional well-being.
A little bit about my background: I have provided mental health treatment, assessments, and consultations for over 25 years, working in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, military bases and local community practices. I am thrilled to be able to use this online platform in order to further extend my work with people.
My foundation of training is with Cognitive Behavioral Interventions. Over the years I have developed a more eclectic approach and incorporated other modalities as well. I stay current with the latest evidence based treatments, and use my training and experience to tailor intervention methods based on my clients' needs.
Many times I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as my primary treatment method. If you're not sure what this is, I'd be more than happy to talk about it with you when we meet. I have also provided a link below if you would like to look up some information before our first session. I have found this treatment to be powerful and effective, and in many cases to work faster than more traditional talk therapies.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and approximately 7 years of experience in the field of therapeutic services. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work with adults, adolescents, children, and families in a variety of clinical settings.
My professional background includes experience in psychiatric hospitalization settings, substance use treatment programs, and private practice. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of mental health needs across different levels of care and life stages.
In my work, I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change in their lives and relationships. I help clients feel more understood, supported, and less alone in what they are facing. I support people in managing symptoms, building coping skills, and improving emotional and relational functioning. Over time, I work to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves and others, while also moving toward a more meaningful and balanced life.
Parenting can be tough. You wonder if your child will ever grow out of their excessive worries, meltdowns, or tantrums, and you become exhausted and feel guilty for being frustrated with them. The nightly battles with homework and reports from school are wearing you down. The power struggle with your spirited toddler or your strong-willed adolescent may leave you overwhelmed and wondering what you can do differently. Communicating and feeling unified with your partner or caregiver may be difficult or your styles may be different, creating a state of uncertainty or chaos in the home.
It is okay to feel overwhelmed. It is also okay to strive for more. You know the potential your child has, and living in a world where you can better help them navigate their development is possible. My goal is to empower you and your child by finding effective parenting strategies and coping skills that work for your family, allowing your child to thrive.
I work with children, families, parents, and caregivers to ease the tension that emotions, outbursts, tantrums, and anxiety can bring children and their families. Parents are welcome for parent support as well as for individual therapy to improve their emotional response when triggered by parenting issues. Children are welcome between the ages of 2 and 7 years for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Let's begin working towards a more peaceful and intentional parenting experience. I welcome all families from all walks of life.

Hello and welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters Degree from Phillips Graduate Institute and have been providing therapeutic services in a variety of settings with multiple populations for over 14 years.
With years of experience in the field, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of human relationships and the impact they have on your overall well-being. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, attachment and family systems theory, to help you navigate through your challenges and achieve the outcomes you desire. In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to explore your concerns, uncover underlying patterns, and develop practical strategies for overcoming obstacles.
I find immense reward in guiding my clients through their healing journeys. I believe in the power of personal growth, a conviction grounded in my own journey of self-discovery, loss, grief, and the challenges of supporting loved ones through illness. These experiences have not only shaped me but also deepened my understanding of the human experience. I view moments of pain as opportunities for profound growth. My commitment to ongoing personal growth fuels the empathy and insight I bring to my clients.
I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing.
I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come.
I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can come as you are and feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. As a first-generation Asian American and Christian therapist, I understand how faith, culture, family expectations, relationships, and life experiences can shape who we are and how we see ourselves.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and over 13 years of experience working with children and families. My approach is warm, genuine, compassionate, and down-to-earth, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based therapy with faith and spirituality when desired.
I have a special heart for supporting young adults, couples, families, parents, and older adults navigating life transitions, relationships, family conflict, motherhood and postpartum adjustment, parenting, grief and loss, self-esteem, cultural pressures, and personal growth.
I believe healing often begins by renewing the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and what is possible for our future. Our hardest seasons do not have to define us; they can become part of a story of growth, healing, and transformation. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward renewed hope and meaningful change.
Hi there!
Do you feel pulled in a million directions? Many times unable to complete tasks? Are you struggling with life’s challenges, relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself?
My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside with you to navigate life’s challenges, discover your strengths, and move toward meaningful change, healing, and a greater sense of well-being.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from California State University, Long Beach. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing life challenges, depression, anxiety, and addiction/substance use.
My approach is compassionate, professional, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I am fluent in English, Farsi, and Pashto.
Traveling throughout Europe and living in Asia and South America have deepened my cultural sensitivity and understanding of how diverse backgrounds and life experiences influence the way we think, feel, and navigate life. I bring this perspective into my work, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strengths-based, and mindfulness approaches to provide individualized and practical support.
Together, we will explore life’s transitions, identify areas for growth, and develop tools and coping skills that work best for you. I also use a holistic, client-centered approach grounded in empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard.
I strive to create a safe, trusting space where you can overcome challenges, recognize your strengths, and move toward personal growth.
Life can be easier, more fulfilling, and joyful.
Clients have described my approach as thoughtful, compassionate, creative, and reliable, with a calming demeanor and steady, strength-based support.
Hi, I'm James. I believe therapy should ultimately help create meaningful change. What change looks like is different for everyone. Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time, returning after time away, or realizing that something in your life isn't working the way you'd like, I would be glad to explore that with you.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor with 15 years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with people across a wide range of backgrounds, and levels of need. Much of my career has been spent serving and leading in community mental health, where I saw how our mental health can be shaped not only by our history, but by our families, communities, cultures, and the world around us.
I am comfortable working with experiences that are often described as "high acuity," including significant trauma, depression, anxiety, and psychosis. I am equally interested in the quieter things that can make life harder than it needs to be, like the nagging doubts, persistent insecurities, difficult relationships, or old patterns that no longer serve you.
Whatever brings you here, you don't need to have it figured out before we begin. My role is to listen, take your experiences seriously, and work alongside you to better understand what's happening and to facilitate change. I will honor your story and your pace while helping you move toward change that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for working with new parents, peripartum (pregnancy through postpartum) and all types of trauma. I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health, relationship, stress, and life-transition concerns. My approach is practical, collaborative, and individualized, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, supportive psychotherapy, and skills-based interventions. I strive to provide a comfortable and nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand the patterns affecting their lives, develop effective coping strategies, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

By blending narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and solution-focused techniques, we will work together to break generational cycles and foster deep healing. If you are ready to reclaim your narrative and build lasting resilience, schedule our first session today.
Therapy with me can be a place to talk freely, get honest feedback, or zero in on a problem you’re ready to change. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, and much more. I bring a relaxed style, humor, and a willingness to address what others may avoid.
I am a trauma informed therapist, integrating CBT, IFS, mindfulness and somatic work. I work with adult individuals struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, relationship struggles and more. In a calm, compassionate environment, I will guide you in self-reflection. I provide a supportive, validating and non-judgmental environment, where all emotions are welcome. I believe honoring the impact of our experience is essential for healing. We will use traditional talk therapy, along with mindfulness and somatic work to practice slowing down and leaning into our feelings.

Hi, I’m Heather Parsons, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Parenting Coach. My approach is attachment-based, nervous-system-informed, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through safety, insight, and compassionate connection. Welcome! My name is Sheri and I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy can be a big step, filling you with a sense of hope, nervousness, or something in between. Taking this journey to help yourself feel better in your own skin, or to function better in relationships, is a huge act of self-care. Sometimes our old wounds, that have yet to heal, play an unsuspecting role in our lives today. Other times, we might feel stuck or get anxiety at the thought of certain changes – even those we want to make. I really enjoy working with clients to help them better understand themselves, feel better individually and in relationship and move towards the version of themselves they want to be. You being here means that you’re taking steps in this direction. My door is open when you’re ready to begin.
Feel free to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation with me to see if we are a good fit.
Hi, my name is Ben. I'm a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) man. While I am open to working with adults of all brain types, my practice focuses on neurodivergence-affirming therapy for autistic adults. As an autistic individual myself, I am keenly aware of and recognize the challenges and strengths of having a brain that works differently than the majority. I consider myself to be primarily a person-centered therapist, but often utilize many other modalities in my work with clients, including, but not limited to, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and EMDR. During my time as a pre-licensed therapist, I completed EMDR training and became very fascinated by its potential to help individuals recover from traumatic experiences and change maladaptive self-concepts. I'm proud to be able to offer this evidence-based treatment to my clients.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and understanding. I partner with clients to explore patterns, build coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My work is informed by trauma-informed care and a holistic perspective that honors each client’s lived experience. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with their values.
I consider myself a relational and systems-based therapist. That means that I value discussing relationships and the impact of them on you. I also seek to understand my client as a whole person and not just your symptoms. At the heart of my work is the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is meaningful and often mirrors patterns that show up outside the therapy room. Together, we will explore these dynamics with curiosity and compassion and without judgment. I deeply value your goals and concerns, and I also believe therapy is a space where thoughtful, honest feedback can be both empowering and healing. Above all, my goal is for therapy to feel collaborative and supportive.
I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work as a therapist. Living with a Bipolar I diagnosis has given me firsthand insight into the challenges of navigating mental health systems, stigma, and the ways these experiences can affect identity, relationships, and everyday life. This perspective allows me to meet each client with empathy, genuine curiosity, and respect for the meaning they make of their experiences. I am a shamanic clinician, which has been largely shaped and inspired by experiences with what’s often referred to as mania or psychosis.
Perception is central to my therapeutic approach. Our histories, emotions, environments, and nervous-system states can all influence what we notice, how we interpret events, and how we respond. By exploring these patterns without judgment, I help clients expand their awareness, consider new perspectives, and develop greater choice in how they relate to themselves and the world around them.
My professional experience includes psychiatric residential treatment, addiction medicine, youth detention, and private practice. I integrate somatic and sensory-based approaches (including brainspotting, meditation, drumming, sound therapy, aromatherapy, guided visualization, and shamanic-inspired practices) to support emotional processing and nervous-system regulation. I also emphasize nature, nutrition, sleep hygiene, and other foundations of whole-person wellness.

A little about me: I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who, come to find out, originally got into this field largely to figure myself out. If you’ve never heard that from a therapist before, it’s actually a pretty common thread among us, we often subconsciously step into healing others as a way to find healing within ourselves.
About 22 years ago, I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD, and roughly 15 years ago, I received an OCD diagnosis. Having these two conditions overlap made things incredibly challenging throughout much of my life and if I’m being completely honest, navigating that balance can still have its moments today. But there’s something powerful about a wounded healer: we tend to want more for ourselves and for the people we serve than just standard, status-quo talk therapy. We dig deeper because we need real answers on a personal level, and once we find what works, we want to share it with the world.
Hello! My name is Mackenzie Maurer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've been working as a clinical therapist since 2017. I graduated with my MSW from Cal State University, Los Angeles and became licensed in 2021. I became a social worker because it aligned well with my belief in social justice and working as a therapist has only strengthened this belief. I am lucky to really love what I do and I feel honored to get to witness my clients' growth in the therapeutic process.
Hello, my name is Lee. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with the state of California. I spent the majority of my career helping people with severe mental illness to achieve stability while searching for meaning within acute care settings. For the past 5 years I’ve been working with team of specialists looking to incorporate more trauma based treatment into the state facilities. Through this exploration I’ve developed a deeper understanding between the interplay of trauma and childhood experiences. The connection between trauma and all of the maladaptive coping styles that I saw in group homes, recovery centers and the VA, became apparent to me. What some might call symptoms I might interpret as adaptations to deal with life. That fundamental understanding is what makes me the therapist that I am. In the words of Anita Sawyer PhD, “It’s those who are comfortable with ambiguity that can see unique perspectives to bridge connection. Connection is the essence of healing.”
Hi! I've been in practice since 2011 and will tell everyone I meet that I LOVE my job! I love helping people understand themselves better, finding answers to questions, and sharing the moment when someone says "So THAT'S why that happens!" I love helping people unhook from beliefs that have brought debilitating guilt and shame. I love celebrating success with someone who has taken a risk, challenged their fears, and come out the other side victorious!

My approach is rooted in feminist and existential therapy, which means we’ll look not only at what you’re experiencing internally, but also at how relationships, family patterns, societal expectations, identity, and your lived experiences have shaped you. I value humor, curiosity, honesty, and creating a space where you don’t have to edit yourself. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and build a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
My approach is warm, practical, and solution-focused. Rather than focusing solely on what's going wrong, we'll also identify what is already working, and build on those successes. Together, we'll develop realistic goals and practical strategies to help you navigate challenges, improve your well-being and move toward the life you want.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself, explore what matters most to you, and leave sessions feeling supported and equipped with tools you can use in your everyday life.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping teens and adults overcome struggles, achieve transformation, and live a meaningful life. I developed a passion early on for working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and supporting parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children. In addition, I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions and interpersonal relationships.
I am a Vietnamese- and English-speaking psychotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience supporting individuals across diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. I am deeply committed to fostering healing at the individual, family, and community levels, recognizing the interconnected nature of emotional well-being.
My goal as a therapist is to provide a compassionate and supportive space for individuals navigating life's challenges, whether they are managing stress, striving for greater work-life balance, or processing personal, intergenerational, or cultural trauma. I work collaboratively with clients to strengthen their resilience, reconnect with their inner strengths, and cultivate meaningful emotional healing and personal growth.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, validated, and genuinely understood. I strive to create a safe, culturally responsive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and move toward lasting change.

Our sense of identity can be in crisis due to the burdensome societal expectations placed on us.
So much of what I love about my work as a therapist and faculty member at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I teach clinical psychology graduate courses, is getting to know people and helping them through life, one step at a time, no matter who they are or where they are on their path.

It is through that genuine connection that I hope to assist you in navigating through depressive, anxious, traumatic, and stress-related symptoms. I also aim to provide treatment through a culturally sensitive perspective.
