Life can be overwhelming, and healing is never one-size-fits-all. I meet you where you are with deep empathy and zero judgment, while bringing genuine teamwork and mutual accountability to our work. Drawing from my background in endurance running and competitive powerlifting, I view therapy much like training: lasting change takes patience, consistency, and active practice. With experience across community mental health and school settings, I provide strengths-based, evidence-driven care for adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Together, we’ll gain better understanding of our patterns and build practical strategies to help you navigate life’s transitions with confidence and resilience.
Our first session is all about establishing a safe, authentic space to understand your story and experiences. I meet you where you are without judgment. Think of therapy like a road trip: you are in the driver's seat controlling the wheel, and I’m the GPS helping you navigate the road ahead. You’ll leave our initial conversation feeling genuinely heard, with a shared understanding of what matters most to you and clear initial steps forward.
I bring an active, grounded presence to every session. We’ll use practical tools to handle everyday stress, while also digging deeper into old habits, relationships, and life experiences that might be holding you back. Rather than just nodding along, I offer honest, supportive feedback and accountability—helping you connect the dots between where you've been and where you want to go.
I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults dealing with major life transitions, relationship challenges, ADHD, depression, anxiety, or first-generation and Asian American cultural dynamics. You are ready to look inward, bring an open perspective, and aren't afraid to push back when something isn't clicking. You’re looking for genuine teamwork: an active space to unpack heavy emotions, develop practical coping systems, and turn personal insight into clear, everyday progress.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Even when navigating similar challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, or depression, everyone processes and heals differently. Instead of forcing your experience into a rigid mold, I combine practical tools for everyday relief with space to unpack root patterns, building a flexible plan tailored to your real life and how your brain actually works
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you navigate anxiety and overwhelming emotions. Drawing from my background in philosophy, I view emotional discomfort not as something to suppress, but as a normal human experience we can understand with clarity. Instead of letting difficult thoughts dictate your choices, we’ll build mindful acceptance and untangle unhelpful patterns—channeling your energy toward meaningful actions rooted in what matters most to you.
I use CBT as a practical, real-world framework to connect how your thoughts, feelings, and actions influence one another. Drawing from extensive community mental health experience, I avoid rigid textbook theories in favor of clear, accessible tools. Together, we’ll pinpoint unhelpful mental loops, untangle automatic habits, and build reliable strategies to help you regain control over your day-to-day life.
I use DBT-informed tools to help you manage intense emotions and relationship stress without reacting impulsively or shutting down. Together, we’ll build practical skills to pause under pressure, reset your nervous system, communicate your needs clearly, and balance accepting difficult moments with taking action to change them.
