I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and approximately 7 years of experience in the field of therapeutic services. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work with adults, adolescents, children, and families in a variety of clinical settings. My professional background includes experience in psychiatric hospitalization settings, substance use treatment programs, and private practice. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of mental health needs across different levels of care and life stages. In my work, I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change in their lives and relationships. I help clients feel more understood, supported, and less alone in what they are facing. I support people in managing symptoms, building coping skills, and improving emotional and relational functioning. Over time, I work to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves and others, while also moving toward a more meaningful and balanced life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I’ll start by reviewing some general information like confidentiality, what to expect in therapy, and any questions you may have about the process. We’ll also go over basic background information, including what brings you to therapy and any important history that may help me understand your situation. After that, the focus shifts to getting to know you—your current concerns, your goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out; we’ll explore it together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal for the first session is to begin building a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving forward with the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I integrate multiple evidence-based modalities—such as CBT, EMDR, IFS, and relational and experiential approaches—tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. I focus on helping clients understand both their emotional experiences and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, while also building practical tools they can use in daily life. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and paced according to each client’s readiness. I aim to help clients not only reduce symptoms, but also develop deeper self-understanding, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of confidence and authenticity in who they are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adult individuals who are looking to improve their lives and could benefit from additional support through therapy. Together, we focus on navigating challenges, building coping skills, and strengthening emotional and relational well-being. I also support clients in exploring what feels meaningful to them, helping them create a greater sense of purpose and direction in their lives. A key part of this work is helping clients build confidence to be themselves, trust their voice, and show up more fully and authentically in their relationships and daily life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

May use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In sessions, I work with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns and explore more balanced and helpful ways of thinking. We also focus on building practical coping skills that can be used in everyday life. CBT is a structured, goal-focused approach that can support clients in managing anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges.

EMDR

May use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process painful or overwhelming experiences. In sessions, I help the client focus on difficult memories while using simple techniques like eye movements or tapping. This can help make those memories feel less intense and support more balanced ways of thinking and feeling about what happened. I have completed basic EMDR training and have been using EMDR in my practice since 2024. I use it based on each client’s needs and comfort level, and always go at a pace that feels safe. EMDR can be helpful for trauma, grief, anxiety, substance use, and relationship concerns.

Motivational Interviewing

May use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their goals and what changes they want to make in their lives. In sessions, I use open conversation and supportive questions to help clients clarify their own motivation and feel more confident about change. This approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, and it focuses on helping clients move at their own pace while building readiness for positive steps forward.

Relational

May use relational therapy to focus on how relationships impact a person’s thoughts, feelings, and well-being. In sessions, I help clients explore patterns in their relationships and how they connect with others, including communication, boundaries, and attachment needs. The goal is to support healthier, more fulfilling relationships and help clients feel more understood and connected in their lives.

Structural Family Therapy

May use Structural Family Therapy to help families understand and improve how they interact with each other. In sessions, I look at patterns, roles, and boundaries within the family system to identify what may be contributing to conflict or stress. We then work together to create healthier structure, improve communication, and support more balanced relationships. This approach focuses on strengthening the family as a whole and helping each person feel more connected and supported.
