LMFT, 18 years of experience
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for working with new parents, peripartum (pregnancy through postpartum) and all types of trauma. I work with individuals from a systemic approach, EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also a mother of 3 children and understand first hand the difficulties of managing mental health at various stages of life.
During our first session we will review completed forms, discuss stressors, challenges and focus on your goals for treatment. Getting to know each other and feeling comfortable with your therapist are predicators of positive therapy outcomes. It’s my job to put myself out of a job.
I am comfortable listening and supporting clients through their current stressors and processing past traumas. I am insightful and inclusive of patterns a client may need help with both big and small.
I specialize in supporting peripartum parents from pregnancy through postpartum. I also specialize in EMDR to help with trauma including birth trauma, fertility issues, childhood trauma, first responder trauma and redirecting negative cognitions.
I have been trained in EMDR for over ten years and have worked with a variety of clients with trauma. I special
I use CBT to work on supporting my clients with shifting their thoughts, feelings and behaviors to be their best confident self.

Rachel was my previous therapist at another agency and I tracked her down when I needed to reengage in service because she is a wonderful therapist.

I followed Rachel from a previous provider because she has been absolutely essential to helping me navigate some really challenging physical health issues as well as coping with late-diagnosed ADHD. She's patient and knows how to be exactly what I need for each session. Life is already on hard-mode for me and Rachel has helped me learn how to keep my head above water when things are the most difficult. I'm so grateful for being able to reconnect.
