I’m dedicated to helping adults and families navigate the complexities of life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, adjustment challenges, grief and loss, relationship stress, and self-esteem issues. With over 15 years of experience in social services, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware lens to the therapeutic relationship. My passion lies in helping individuals strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, express emotions, and reconnect with their sense of self.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I strive to create a compassionate and inclusive space where clients feel heard, validated, and understood. Our first session will focus on collaboratively identifying needs and goals, and as a team, we will map out our guide to treatment throughout our journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

my strengths are in building a strong rapport with my clients and tailoring my approach based on their needs, personality traits, and learning styles. I do not believe in a one size fits all modality and have experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches so we can discover how to optimize your healing experience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients come from a variety of backgrounds with a wide range of needs and goals. What they have in common, though, is that they are ready to feel whole again, ready to feel empowered by their own narrative, and seeking empathetic and nonjudgmental guidance to experience a positive shift in their journey.

My treatment methods

Narrative

I utilize Narrative Therapy to help clients separate themselves from their challenges and reconnect with their inherent strengths, values, and preferred identities. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the stories they carry about themselves, often shaped by family systems, trauma history, cultural expectations, or life transitions, and gently examine which narratives support their growth and which no longer serve them. Through externalizing language, identifying dominant and alternative narratives, and highlighting moments of resilience, clients learn to rewrite their stories with empowerment, self-compassion, and agency. This approach allows clients to move from feeling defined by their problems to feeling grounded in their skills, lived experience, and emerging sense of self, supporting deeper insight, emotional flexibility, and sustainable change.

Attachment-based

I incorporate Attachment-Based Therapy to support clients in understanding how early relational experiences shape their emotional patterns, beliefs about self and others, and ways of connecting in the present. In sessions, we gently explore attachment history, relational wounds, and protective strategies developed across the lifespan, while honoring the role these patterns once played in safety and survival. By bringing awareness to attachment needs, fears, and long-standing relational templates, clients begin to cultivate new ways of relating, both to themselves and to others, rooted in emotional safety, trust, and secure connection. Through attuned therapeutic presence, corrective emotional experiences, and fostering secure internal attachment, clients learn to build healthier boundaries, deepen emotional regulation and communication skills, and strengthen their capacity for closeness, self-worth, and resilience in relationships.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients build compassionate awareness of their inner experiences and the protective strategies shaped by past pain, attachment wounds, and life transitions. In therapy, we explore the inner landscape of “parts” with curiosity and respect, recognizing how manager, firefighter, and exiled parts developed roles to protect the client and maintain emotional survival. Through guided exploration, parts-mapping, and fostering connection with the client’s core Self, clients learn to soften self-criticism, regulate emotional responses, and create internal safety. As clients deepen access to Self energy, grounded in compassion, clarity, and calm, they begin unburdening wounded parts, strengthening inner trust, and cultivating internal harmony that supports healthier boundaries, secure relationships, and a more empowered sense of identity and emotional freedom.
