You can expect for me to actively listen and to develop goals and treatment plan on how we will accomplish those goals.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I utilize evidence-based treatments, namely cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also utilize a collaborative approach to incorporate a client’s beliefs, culture, religion, and mindfulness along with family and community resources into treatment.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My collaborative and holistic approach to treatment is one of my biggest strengths. I believe looking at a client’s physical, mental, and spiritual health along with family and community resources can have long-lasting positive effects on a client’s well-being.
