About me

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. My approach is warm, practical, and solution-focused. Rather than focusing solely on what's going wrong, we'll also identify what is already working, and build on those successes. Together, we'll develop realistic goals and practical strategies to help you navigate challenges, improve your well-being and move toward the life you want. I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself, explore what matters most to you, and leave sessions feeling supported and equipped with tools you can use in your everyday life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you will have space to share what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you would like to be different. We will begin getting to know one another, clarify your goals and identify the concerns or patterns you would most like to address. You can expect a collaborative and supportive conversation rather than pressure to have everything figured out. Using a solution-focused approach, we will begin identifying your strengths, exploring what may already be working, and discussing practical steps that can help you move forward. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer sense of how therapy can support you, initial goals to work toward, and at least one practical idea or strategy to consider between sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with people and create a space where they feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I bring warmth, empathy, and a nonjudgmental approach to my work while also helping clients identify practical ways to move forward. I am a strong listener and believe in meeting people where they are, recognizing their individual strengths, and helping them build confidence in their ability to create positive change. I also bring a collaborative and solution-focused perspective, allowing clients to take an active role in identifying their goals and creating meaningful change in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an adult who may be navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, career changes, parenting concerns or other significant life transitions. They may feel overwhelmed or stuck and are looking for support, clarity, and practical tools to help them move forward. I especially enjoy working with clients who want therapy to feel collaborative, supportive and goal-oriented. My clients don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy-they simply need to be open to exploring what they would like to be different in their lives. Using a solution-focused approach, we will identify strengths, build on what is already working, and develop realistic steps toward meaningful change. My goal is for clients to feel heard and supported while also leaving therapy with greater confidence, useful strategies, and a clearer sense of where they want to go.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my practice, I will utilize a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach to help clients identify their strengths, resources and existing coping skills while working toward meaningful and achievable goals. Rather than focusing primarily on problems or past difficulties, I will collaborate with clients to explore what is already working in their lives and identify small, practical steps that can lead to positive change. Interventions may include goal-setting, scaling questions, exception questions and exploring times when clients have successfully managed similar challenges. Treatment will be individualized and client-centered, with an emphasis on hope, resilience and the client's ability to create change. Progress will be regularly reviewed, and treatment goals will be adjusted collaboratively based on the client's needs and desired outcomes.
