(she/her)
I am a Vietnamese and English-speaking psychotherapist with over 17 years of clinical experiences. I have a passion to promote the integration of individual, family and community healing. My lifelong goal of being a therapist is to provide support to those struggling with different life challenges, such as managing stress, finding work-life balance, or processing their trauma, various forms of abuse, depression, and/or anxiety. I help individuals find their intrinsic motivation to emotionally heal and experience personal growth. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, be acknowledged, given validation, and be understood.
The first session is about building a foundation of trust. It is for you to make inquiries and assess for compatibility. You will be asked some questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, your history, and any goals you have. It’s a mix of structured questions and open conversation. Some clients feel nervous before their first session — that’s completely normal. You’re not expected to dive deep right away unless you want to. My role is to listen with curiosity and compassion, and to help you begin to feel at ease in the process.
I’m particularly skilled at helping clients untangle complex emotional patterns, especially those rooted in early relationships or past trauma. Clients often tell me they feel at ease during our sessions and also safe enough to talk about difficulty subjects without pressure or judgment. I bring both warmth and honesty to the room — I’ll meet you where you are, but I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that are keeping you stuck.
My practice is a good fit for individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make lasting changes. I specialize in working with people who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, depression, trauma, past abuses, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals or creatives who appear “fine” on the outside but feel disconnected or overwhelmed inside. You might be seeking clarity, healing from past experiences, or a more authentic connection to yourself and others.
In my therapy practice, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through structured interventions, I support clients in developing more adaptive coping strategies, setting achievable goals, and practicing skills that promote lasting emotional and behavioral change. CBT is tailored to each client's needs and is integrated with other modalities when appropriate.
