Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
I have been a therapist in California since 2019 and have been fully licensed since 2022. My overarching goal is to improve your mental health. It is possible with consistent attendance, complete honesty, and a willingness to change. I cannot achieve this alone; therapy is a lot of work, it requires commitment and follow-through.

Hello, I’m Sascha,
If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances.
I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges.
Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.

This is a space where you can feel safe, supported, and free to be vulnerable. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and overcome the challenges standing in your way—so you can step more fully into who you are meant to be.
I'm so glad you found your way here. Seeking treatment is an indication of being ready for change and having a new experience of life. I'm an insight oriented therapist meaning I assist clients in illuminating their inner workings and wounds that have created struggles in their lives. I work at a level of healing and empowering with the intention to offer guidance rather than to instruct. You are the expert of your life. Together we take a look at what needs to be addressed and resolved then move into recognizing one's own strengths, value, and worth. This allows individuals to move into greater appreciation and acceptance of self.
I have worked for several years with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a strong focus on personal acceptance, self-compassion, and resolution of internal conflicts based in trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship strain, or lack of direction and focus in one’s life. I specialize in substance abuse and addiction treatment. Having been in recovery for 10 years myself, I understand the journey of ending the cycle of self destruction and moving to a place of healing and greater peace.
As a nationally-certified, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I have extensive experience working with clients dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD and/or trauma-related symptoms, as well as life transitions. Coupled with my background in coaching, I will engage you in two ways: 1) a look back at the conditions which contributed to your current distress and 2) a look forward to define how you want to shape your future. This involves creating a specific vision of your desired outcome and a plan to achieve it. I wholeheartedly believe in the change process and, while difficult, it can lead to a more peaceful, satisfying and productive future.
I am bilingual, bi-literate and bi-cultural (English-Spanish) and have worked with diverse populations both in the United States and abroad for the last thirty years. This has allowed me to develop a high level of attunement to the needs and challenges that people may face based on their diverse and unique backgrounds. I am a firm believer in people's ability to identify solutions to the problems they are facing. What you will experience with me is an atmosphere of acceptance, empathy and a non-judgmental approach. Additionally, I will encourage you to define goals for yourself and work towards achieving and/or exceeding them.
In support of therapeutic work, I incorporate my background as a mixed media artist. I believe in the healing power of the creative process and incorporate some form of Expressive Arts (dialogue, writing, visual arts and/or music), as clinically appropriate. In workshops that I facilitate, I also utilize Expressive Arts prompts to support individual and group processes.

With an extensive background in child development and family systems, my approach centers on healing the inner child and understanding the roots of who we are today. I show up for clients with compassion and warmth, paired with a gentle assertiveness to help guide you toward your potential. Above all, I am an optimist — and I will always hold hope for you, even on the days you struggle to hold it for yourself
