New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting women and LGBTQI+ . I’m a trauma-informed therapist who supports individuals navigating their healing journey. I specialize in codependency, narcissistic abuse, divorce, and difficult relationships. I use CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, DBT-informed skills, and supportive, empathetic therapy to help you better understand your experiences, strengthen boundaries and self-trust, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can make sense of your story, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with yourself.
I hope you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and a little less alone. My goal is for you to have a clearer sense of what brought you to therapy and to feel comfortable knowing you have a supportive space to start making sense of your experiences and moving forward.
I bring lived experience as a divorced single mother and survivor of narcissistic abuse. I understand firsthand how confusing and difficult it can be to rebuild your life, trust yourself again, and find your sense of identity after a painful relationship. These experiences have deepened my empathy and compassion and allow me to connect with clients in a genuine and nonjudgmental way. I combine lived experience with evidence-based approaches and practical tools to help you make sense of your experiences, rebuild self-trust, and move forward with confidence.
My ideal client is an adult who feels stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, is healing from a difficult or emotionally abusive relationship, or is navigating divorce or major life transitions. I enjoy working with women and LGBTQ clients who want to rebuild confidence, self-trust, and a stronger sense of self. I enjiy cliennts who are seeking to build relationships and insight.
I use supportive therapy to create a warm, empathetic space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll talk through what you're experiencing, make sense of difficult situations, and build on your strengths as you navigate challenges and work toward meaningful change.
CBT helps you catch and reframe negative thoughts, so you can feel more grounded and in control.
I use compassion-focused therapy to help you build a kinder and more understanding relationship with yourself. We explore patterns of self-criticism, shame, or self-doubt, and I guide you in gradually shifting toward self-compassion and confidence,.
