I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic. 150726) who helps children, teens, adults, and couples tackle anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, and life’s endless plot twists. Think of me as part therapist, part guide, and occasional reality-check provider. Using evidence-based therapy, collaboration, and a touch of humor, I help clients build resilience, gain insight, and discover they’re often far stronger than they give themselves credit for.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Expect a therapist who is positive, compassionate, and genuinely curious about your story. The first session isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about getting to know you. I’ll meet you where you are, help you feel heard, and work alongside you to turn challenges into opportunities for growth, hope, and meaningful change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy with me isn’t about lying on a couch while I mysteriously ask, “And how does that make you feel?” It’s about rolling up our sleeves and tackling life’s challenges together. As a CBT therapist, I help clients identify the sneaky thoughts, habits, and patterns that keep them stuck—and then teach them how to outsmart them. My approach combines evidence-based therapy, mindfulness, meditation, a healthy dose of humor, and an unwavering belief that people are far more resilient than they realize. Together, we turn overwhelming problems into manageable goals using the SMART framework, building confidence, self-esteem, and momentum along the way. My mission is simple: help you become the strongest, most authentic version of yourself while proving that hope is much tougher—and much more stubborn—than any challenge life throws your way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, and personal growth challenges. I work well with clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, misunderstood, or disconnected and are seeking a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. My approach is especially beneficial for clients who want to improve emotional regulation, communication, coping skills, self-awareness, confidence, and overall well-being while building hope, resilience, and healthier patterns in their daily lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapist, I provide a compassionate, supportive, and holistic approach to helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Using evidence-based CBT techniques, I help clients identify negative thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping skills that promote long-term growth and healing. My approach focuses on positivity, mindfulness, self-awareness, and hope while recognizing the connection between emotional, physical, and relational well-being. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered, supported, and capable of creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My mindfulness-based approach integrates mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and a positive, strengths-based perspective to promote healing, personal growth, resilience, and inner peace. I help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences without judgment, allowing them to respond to life's challenges with intention rather than react impulsively. Through these evidence-informed practices, clients learn to reduce stress, regulate emotions, cultivate self-compassion, and build the resilience needed to create lasting emotional well-being and meaningful change.

Somatic

I use somatic therapy to help clients understand the connection between their mind and body, recognizing how stress, trauma, and emotional experiences are often expressed through physical sensations. I guide clients in identifying bodily cues and triggers while teaching them to regulate their nervous system through grounding, breathwork, and body-based awareness. My approach emphasizes that their symptoms are understandable responses rather than personal weaknesses, empowering clients to recognize that they are stronger than their symptoms and capable of healing, resilience, and lasting growth.
