I specialize in providing counseling for anxiety, loss, relationship challenges, and trauma with a focus on increasing self-esteem and building onto current resiliency. I am a firm believer that all of us go through tough times in our lives, but also that given the proper therapeutic tools you will meet your mental health goals. Each individual is different and together we will come up with a therapeutic approach to either improve or continue your ability to thrive. I also offer career exploration services. Congratulations on taking the first (and often most difficult step) of seeking mental health services!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is a holistic, systemic approach. I do this through a multicultural and social justice approach and lens. I take into consideration the person’s varying identities and how the systems they live in impacts them. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for past disturbing memories and related events. Life hands us many transitions and challenges. I value lived experiences and recognize your expertise in your lived experience.
