I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 25 years experience working with children, adolescents and families. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Famliy Structural Therapy (EFST). CBT has helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring the goals you’d like to work towards. This is your space, so you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I’ll listen without judgment and together, we’ll develop a plan that feels right for you. You can expect a supportive, compassionate environment where you can be yourself and feel heard. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to guide you as you work toward greater clarity, growth, and well-being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to offer unwavering support, create a non-judgmental space, and remain fully committed to helping you become the best version of yourself. I focus on truly understanding your unique needs, providing a compassionate environment where you can explore your challenges, and empowering you to grow at your own pace. Together, we’ll work through obstacles and celebrate your progress every step of the way.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Take a moment to recognize the courage it takes to begin this journey—starting therapy is a meaningful first step, and it can feel empowering, overwhelming, or even a little scary all at once. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can openly explore the challenges you're facing, whether they're related to anxiety, depression, or self-care. Together, we’ll work on building assertive communication and healthy boundaries—both with yourself and others—to enhance your overall well-being. Therapy is a powerful tool for personal growth, no matter what you’re hoping to achieve. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here and ready to listen.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected and can lead to getting stuck in negative habits that can make anxiety, depression and stress feel worse. I am able to help clients recognize these patterns and challenge them to shift their thinking to be more helpful and empowering.

Motivational Interviewing

I help clients who are struggling with making changes to explore what is important to them and to take a look at what they are ready to do. This approach encourages you to be in the drivers seat and to make decisions as to what is best for you.

Structural Family Therapy

This approach looks at the structure and organization of the family. In this model, we will look at how the family interacts and work at restructuring the interactions to strengthen family relationships and dynamics. I help you look at patterns, communication and boundaries.
