(she/her)
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in the same patterns? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and families create healthier relationships, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Family Structural Therapy (EFST) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify negative or recurring thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges, and develop practical tools to create lasting change. Whether your child is struggling emotionally, your teen feels overwhelmed, or your family is facing challenges in communication or connection, therapy can provide support, clarity, and effective strategies for growth and healing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but meaningful change is possible. I look forward to supporting you and your family on that journey.
Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and the goals you hope to achieve. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — you’re encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and helps you move toward meaningful growth and positive change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you don’t have to navigate things alone. I’ll be here to support and guide you every step of the way as you work toward greater clarity, confidence, healing, and emotional well-being.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I am deeply committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges while building the confidence, insight, and tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, which is why I strive to make the process feel comfortable, collaborative, and empowering from the very beginning. Every client’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs, goals, and pace. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, family challenges, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck, you do not have to face it alone. Together, we will work toward helping you gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and become the healthiest, most fulfilled version of yourself. Healing and growth are possible, and taking the first step can begin today.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore the challenges you’re facing, whether related to anxiety, depression, stress, or self-care. Together, we will work to strengthen assertive communication skills and establish healthy boundaries—with both yourself and others—to support greater balance and emotional well-being. Therapy can be a meaningful and powerful step toward personal growth and lasting change, no matter where you are starting from. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to listen, support, and work alongside you on your journey forward.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors — and how certain patterns can keep them feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, stress, depression, or self-doubt. Together, we identify these unhelpful patterns and work to challenge and replace them with healthier, more empowering ways of thinking. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping clients build the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change. As clients gain greater self-awareness and develop healthier coping strategies, they often begin to feel more in control, resilient, and hopeful in their everyday lives.
Motivational Interviewing
I incorporate Motivational Interviewing techniques to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and collaborative conversations, I help clients identify personal strengths, increase self-awareness, and build motivation for meaningful change. My approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, respecting their autonomy, and helping them work through ambivalence or uncertainty with compassion and encouragement. Together, we develop realistic goals and strategies that empower clients to make positive, lasting changes aligned with their values and personal goals.
Structural Family Therapy
I integrate Structural Family Therapy concepts into my clinical practice to help families better understand and improve their interaction patterns, roles, and boundaries. I focus on how family dynamics influence individual behavior and emotional well-being, and I work collaboratively with families to identify unhelpful structures that may be contributing to conflict, stress, or disconnection. Through a strengths-based and systems-oriented approach, I support families in reshaping communication patterns, strengthening appropriate boundaries, and building more effective hierarchies that promote stability and connection. By actively engaging family members in the therapeutic process, I help them create healthier structures that support improved relationships, greater emotional support, and more balanced family functioning.
