I am a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho. Additionally, I am a Board Credited Art Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I received my Masters degrees at Marywood University in PA. I like to help people who are experiencing challenges in life transitions, anxiety, depression and self-worth. My goal is to support them in gaining the skills to become their authentic selfs. I believe in meeting clients where they are at within their healing process, while focusing on personal strengths and guiding them to their fullest autonomy through the creative process and traditional verbal therapy. I love hiking, making art and being with my pets!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will participate in introductions then dive into what is bringing you to therapy. We will discuss a treatment plan together that I will tailor to your concerns because I believe you should be a part of the goals you want to achieve!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My goal as a therapist is to help people explore their personal voice while providing an empathic environment for them to be successful within their healing process. With experience in both art therapy and verbal therapy it has allowed me to combine and explore different methods to create the best course of treatment for clients to reach their goals.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Since I have become a therapist it is important to meet clients where they are at to provide unconditional and empathic support. I use this approach through active listening and genuineness to provide validation of experiences and emotions.

Trauma Informed Care

I am certified in trauma treatment and have worked with individuals with 4 years with emotional, sexually and verbal abuse from ages 3 to 90 years old. Through this approach I help guide individuals in exploring how trauma impacts them physically, emotionally and cognitively, with provided empathic support along the way.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT with child, adolescents and adults to identify negative patterns that are impacting their daily living. Using it to develop new skills and gain a better understanding of how the cycle of our thoughts impact our behaviors, emotions and our bodily responses.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT helps individuals explore and gain skills in distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships.
