It could be the weight of school, stress from work or home, relationship drama, turning to substances as a coping mechanism, or simply navigating the twists and turns of life. And, you know what? It's totally okay to need someone to chat with, someone who'll listen without judgment and with a ton of compassion. I've worked with people of all ages and use a mix of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), reality therapy, and motivational interviewing. This is a safe space where I encourage you to share your thoughts. I'll laugh with you, be your shoulder to lean on during tough times, and cheer you on every step of the way!

Our first meeting is like a getting-to-know-you session. We want to build a solid rapport that'll make it easier to dive into the nitty-gritty later on. We'll also chat about your goals for our therapeutic relationship. This helps me to tailor our approach to best fit what you're searching for.

I've had the privilege of working with many individuals dealing with depression and anxiety, and I really shine when it comes to discussing two things. First, I'm all about helping you find that sweet spot of emotional balance. Second, I'm big on exploring coping strategies that are a perfect fit for you. I firmly believe there's no one-size-fits-all solution for these things. I'm also passionate about creating a space where you can talk about how you're really feeling and how to tackle those tricky emotions that can be tough to express. This is my primary approach I utilize, because it fits majority of what people are struggling with across the board. I always adjust for what the conversation best calls for, but I find using this method helpful, to simply talk about how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are related.
