As a therapist, I specialize in using mindfulness-based therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving greater emotional well-being. My approach combines mindfulness practices that foster self-awareness and presence with practical CBT strategies to help identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Together, we’ll work to develop tools for navigating life’s difficulties, cultivating resilience, and creating meaningful change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We’ll spend some time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. The main purpose of an intake session is to gather information so I can understand your unique experiences and how I can best support you. I’ll ask you a variety of questions—some about your current concerns, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’d like to work on in therapy. I may also ask about your history, including things like your mental health, physical health, relationships, and any past experiences that feel relevant to share. This helps me get a fuller picture of your situation and how it’s impacting you. We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. If you don’t know exactly what that looks like yet, that’s totally fine—it’s something we can figure out together as we go. Finally, I’ll explain a little more about how I work, what therapy will look like moving forward, and answer any questions you might have. By the end of the session, the goal is for you to feel comfortable and have a sense of how we can work together to meet your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I focus on helping you build awareness of your thoughts and emotions in the present moment, fostering a deep sense of clarity and self-compassion. At the same time, I guide you in identifying and transforming unhelpful thought patterns into actionable steps toward your goals. My commitment is to help you not only address immediate concerns but also develop lifelong skills for resilience, self-discovery, and lasting change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can explore your concerns and work towards meaningful change. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship, where trust, empathy, and collaboration are at the core. Together, we’ll uncover patterns, heal old wounds, and build on your strengths to create the fulfilling life you deserve.
