What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session, you can expect to answer basic questions and have an opportunity to ask me questions as well. I am open to understanding helpful interventions that have worked in the past so that we can incorporate them into our sessions as well. Collaborating with you to determine your goals and working together and to support you from start to end from the first session to the end of treatment are a huge part of my approach.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

In my sessions, I incorporate and build upon client strengths in order to empower clients to use their own strengths and abilities to move forward with their own journey and healing process.

Family Therapy

When working with clients who are experiencing family conflict, I collaborate with clients and families using solution-focused treatment. My goal is to help clients reduce stressors and find healthy communication skills and ways to cope with the conflict.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In working with clients for shorter periods of time, my goal is to help clients determine what is changeable and in their control in order to move forward on their journey.
