LCSW, 35 years of experience
New to Grow
I have a BA in theatre and drama and the realized I liked understanding the characters better than playing them. I entered nursing school and after a few years I realized I liked helping the patients in hospital to manage their fears and concerns regarding their medical issues. I then decided to attend graduate school at Southern CT State University to gain my MSW. I then was licensed 2 years after I graduated and received my LCSW. I work with adults 18-65 as well older seniors. I have over 3o years of experience as a therapist helping people to be their best selves, to feel empowered in their lives and to heal.
At our first session we will begin with a brief introduction. We will then explore the challenges you are experiencing in your life and why you chose this time to engage in therapy. We will develop goals for treatment and then determine together if this will be a good fit.
I bring my own knowledge from professional therapy that I began at a young age, as well as life experience and over 30 years of practice as a therapist to sessions with clients. For me, this is a way of “paying it forward.” I look forward to meeting you. Carole Strong
