New to Grow
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families foster healthier relationships with themselves and one another. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on real-life growth. I utilize techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and narrative therapy, all through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. Clients describe my sessions as a safe space where they can fully engage, feel understood, and initiate meaningful change that resonates with their true selves.
In our first session, you can expect a safe, down-to-earth space, a non judgmental zone where you’re free to show up just as you are. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and what you’re hoping to find on your healing journey. I take time to listen, to really understand your story, your strengths, and what “better” looks like for you. This first step is about creating connection and clarity so you leave feeling heard, supported, and reminded that there’s still hope ahead.
My approach blends practical tools with empathy and cultural understanding. I combine methods like CBT, EFT, and the Gottman approach to help clients recognize patterns, improve communication, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I meet clients where they are creating a space that’s honest, supportive, and rooted in hope. The result is real growth: stronger self-awareness, emotional balance, and lasting change.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are ready to do the work of healing and growth, even if they’re not sure where to start. I work best with those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Many of my clients are balancing cultural, faith, or family expectations while trying to stay true to themselves. I help them find clarity, strengthen emotional resilience, and create healthier connections with others and within.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize the power of your thoughts and how they shape your emotions and choices. Together, we’ll break old patterns and build healthier ways of seeing yourself and your life. CBT gives you practical tools to quiet self-doubt, manage stress, and create lasting change—one step, one thought, one moment at a time. My goal is to help you see the hope that’s already within you and trust it to guide your next chapter.
n couples counseling, I help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect emotionally. Together, we’ll identify patterns that block understanding and practice new ways to listen and respond with care. Using approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, I support couples in creating healthier, more fulfilling relationships grounded in honesty, empathy, and renewed connection.
For clients who desire it, I offer faith-based therapy that integrates spiritual values with evidence-based practices. Together, we explore how faith can bring strength, comfort, and clarity through life’s challenges. I create space for honest conversations about doubt, hope, and healing, helping you align your emotional and spiritual growth. My goal is to support you in finding peace, purpose, and a deeper sense of connection to both yourself and your faith.
I provide culturally sensitive therapy that honors your unique background, identity, and lived experience. I recognize how culture, family, and community shape the way we see ourselves and the world. In our work together, I create a space where all parts of your story are welcome, your values, language, and traditions. My goal is to help you feel understood and supported as you navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, resilience, and pride in who you are.
