New to Grow
Hi, I’m Caitlyn. I work with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and feel more confident both at home and in daily life. I take a supportive, down-to-earth approach and tailor sessions to each client’s needs, using engaging and age-appropriate strategies. I also work closely with parents to provide guidance, structure, and tools that support lasting change outside of sessions.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what’s been going on. I’ll ask questions to learn about your concerns, strengths, and goals. For children and teens, I also involve parents to gather helpful background and begin identifying practical strategies right away. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and leave with a clearer sense of next steps.
I am strengths-based, approachable, and practical in my approach. I focus on building strong connections with clients while providing real-life strategies that can be used outside of sessions. I also work closely with parents to create consistency and support progress at home.
I work best with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioral concerns. Many of the families I support are looking for practical tools to help their child manage big emotions, improve behavior at home or school, and feel more confident. I also work closely with parents to build structure, consistency, and effective communication strategies. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on real-life skills that can be used outside of sessions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work on building practical coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and developing more helpful thinking patterns that can be applied in everyday situations.
Attachment-based
I incorporate an attachment-based approach to help clients explore relationships, build emotional safety, and strengthen connections with caregivers and others. This is especially helpful for children and families working through anxiety, behavioral challenges, and emotional regulation.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solution-focused approach to help clients identify strengths, set achievable goals, and create practical steps toward change. Sessions focus on what’s working and how to build on those successes.
