I’m the daughter of two Army Veterans, a native of Fayetteville, NC and a trauma trained therapist who has been working with the military community through research and psychotherapy for 15 years. Therapy is a journey and I am a facilitator, poised to go on the journey with you. With over 15 years of experience in the fields of research and psychotherapy counseling, I have developed a unique approach to individual therapy that combines evidence-based practices with a client-centered focus. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I provide Individual psychotherapy sessions that include various treatment styles depending on the individual need.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. My approach is centered around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have trained in CBT several times over my clinical experience and use it with nearly every client. It is easily integrated into other methods that I use and is generally accepted well by most clients for anxiety, depression and other challenges.

EMDR

EMDR is one of my favorite modalities to use. EMDR can be done in person or virtually. It is an excellent choice for PTSD and anxiety.

Positive Psychology

Positive psychology is more than worksheet and ideas. It can be integrated into daily life in a way that can be natural and intuitive for many people.
