New to Grow
I am a dedicated mental health clinician with extensive experience using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My practice centers on helping clients increase resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and live more aligned with their values. I bring a collaborative, client-centered style, integrating structured interventions with flexibility to meet each individual’s unique needs. I am passionate about empowering clients to navigate challenges, reduce distress, and create lasting change that supports both well-being and personal growth
In the first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you have about the process. I’ll also ask questions about your history, current challenges, and strengths so I can get a clear picture of your needs. Together, we’ll begin outlining a treatment plan and talk about what approaches—such as CBT or ACT—might be most helpful for you. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of my style, what therapy with me looks like, and a collaborative roadmap for moving forward.
My greatest strength as a clinician is my ability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients through empathy, active listening, and a nonjudgmental approach. I create a safe space where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions while also feeling empowered to take steps toward meaningful change. I balance warmth with evidence-based structure, which allows me to adapt CBT, ACT, and other interventions to meet each client’s unique needs while maintaining focus on their goals and progress.
My ideal client is someone who is motivated to make meaningful changes in their life, even if they feel stuck or uncertain about how to begin. I work best with individuals who are open to exploring the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and who are willing to engage in evidence-based strategies such as CBT and ACT. I particularly enjoy working with clients who want to build resilience, reduce avoidance, and align their daily choices with their personal values. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or stress, my ideal client is ready to take small, actionable steps toward greater well-being and a more fulfilling life
“I have extensive experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build psychological flexibility and resilience. In my practice, I integrate mindfulness, values clarification, and cognitive defusion techniques, often using metaphors like ‘Leaves on a Stream’ or ‘Passengers on the Bus’ to create distance from unhelpful thoughts. I guide clients in clarifying values and committing to actions aligned with those values, which helps them move away from avoidance-based coping and toward purposeful, values-driven living. I adapt ACT interventions to each client’s needs, whether through brief, targeted strategies or as a comprehensive therapeutic framework.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and make lasting behavioral changes. In my practice, I integrate cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and problem-solving techniques to address both immediate symptoms and underlying patterns. I often use thought records and guided discovery to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while collaboratively developing skills to manage distress and increase functioning. I adapt CBT interventions to each client’s needs, whether through brief, solution-focused work or as a comprehensive treatment plan.
