(she/her)
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and NC. I received my Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX., and have been practicing in North Carolina and Florida for since 2018. I help children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly set boundaries, learn coping skills, and foster positive communication to overcome challenges they have faced throughout life. I am also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ADHD, and Parent Instructor.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I will answer questions you may have about therapy and the limitations there may be. Then, we will dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions based on your needs and wants.
I have over 7 years of experience in Mental Health. As a provider, I am a great listener and able to help others process their thoughts and emotions, facilitating clear communication. As a provider, I encourage clients to be informed about their diagnoses and other important aspects in their lives to be the best advocates for themselves.
I love working with individuals who are having difficulties in life and are trying to overcome them, but may need some assistance in overcoming a specific roadblock. I have experience in working with an array of mental health disorders in all age groups.
