Trauma has haunted you for years. It’s left you with nightmares and flashbacks. It’s caused you to distrust others and push them away. It’s made you feel broken and hopeless. You’ve tried everything you can think of to shed the weight of the past. You’ve read the books, tried the life hacks… You may have even talked to a therapist. But now, you’re out of options. Nothing has helped you transition from being a survivor to someone who’s truly alive. And you’re all talked out. No matter how many times you tell your story, nothing changes. The search for relief is exhausting. This might be your last shot at getting help.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You might experience anxiety at the thought of meeting a stranger and sharing the most painful and intimate details about your life. I aim to create a safe space for you in which you can go at your own pace. There is no pressure, only an invitation to a journey of self-discovery, genuine connection, and healing. Our first meeting will allow us to cover practical things related to therapy. More importantly, you will be able to share what you are ready to disclose and get a sense of who I am as a therapist.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

You CAN change your life! I’ve seen it many times. You can be at peace with your past and live free from the burdens you feel now. But you need compassion and experience to get there. Let me pull you out of the shadows. Even if you don’t know what you want your future to look like, taking action will put you on course. Call now for a consultation

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I have been using Brainspotting in my practice for the last 8 years, and it has been a game-changer for many clients who felt EMDR was too intense. It allows you to safely process traumatic events, feelings, and negative thoughts without having to relive or repeat the details of the incident. This is one of the main approaches I use because it is highly effective.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have used DBT with clients for the last 9 years, both for individuals and groups. DBT offers practical skills to help manage overwhelming emotions. We will use those skills to give you back some control, establish stability, and, when necessary, prepare for trauma work.

EMDR

I have used EMDR for the last 18 years. It is a highly effective modality for addressing trauma. EMDR works best for specific memories and/or triggers and is used for a variety of issues besides traumas, such as anxiety, anger, relapse prevention, generational and pre-verbal traumas, to name a few.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy is a delicate and intricate process for those who experience loss. I usually integrate different therapeutic approaches and modalities based on your needs. I offer a safe place to process the loss, grieve, avoid pitfalls, and create meaning.

Multicultural

Being a foreigner myself and having an extensive multicultural experience, I enjoy meeting and helping those from various cultural backgrounds. I offer a unique perspective and help you navigate the specific challenges that come from being from another culture.
