Hi! My name is Paige and I have been a practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 7 years now. I have had experience in schools, group homes, and private practice. My primary experience is with adolescents and young adults aged 12-25. Most clients I see are experiencing anxiety, depression, or a mix of challenges that tend to hold them back from experiences and day to day life. My style is more laid back, but I will always keep the client's needs, wants, and goals in mind. I meet everyone where they are at and have a lot of experience with those who may be unsure or have never tried therapy before. My hope is that therapy becomes a place that feels safe and comfortable. I am always open to feedback or questions regarding treatment and am always more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the process!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions. I try to hold space for any questions as well as give you a chance to tell me what brings you here. If you are more comfortable with me asking questions based on the intake form, please just let me know! I want sessions to feel like a conversation, while also giving you a chance to get to know my style and personality better to ensure I would be a good fit for your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider of 7 years in various settings, some strengths I possess include flexibility, empathy, and ability to discern challenges, goals, and strengths from each session. I have a genuine passion for seeing my clients grow and achieve things they did not think were possible. My hope is that I am able to be part of growing your confidence, meeting your goals, and reducing any distressing thoughts that may be holding you back.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

With a strength-based approach, I work with clients to assist them in learning to empower themselves as well as face challenges in their own lives. This can look like building confidence, working through and practicing scenarios, and improving self-esteem. This is a treatment I build into every plan and goal to keep client's motivated and point out strengths and accomplishments that may have been missed or minimized.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a therapist using CBT in my practice, I assist clients in finding thinking patterns that may not be helpful to meeting their short or long term goals. Additionally, this treatment method can be helpful in identifying and understanding the function of these thoughts and behaviors that may be causing distress. Once identified, we will work on establishing new patterns, thoughts, and ways to reduce the harmful behaviors.
