My name is La Kevia N Moore and I have been a licensed clinical therapist for 7 years. I also hold a doctorate in education, organizational leadership. Empathy and compassion are my two overarching themes. Providing support to clients in their most vulnerable times is my passion and my part in creating a healthy society. In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and decide what methods of treatment will be most appropriate and effective. The environment will be that of calm and peace. I assist with an empathetic ear and a friendly disposition.
My style of therapy is unique in that I enlist empirical evidence in a clinical setting without the feeling of a cold, sterile environment. My sessions are therapeutic, yet provides a sense of warmth and comfort.
I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by anxiety, weighed down by self-doubt, struggling in relationships, or navigating major life transitions. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing. In our work together, we focus on your goals, whether you’re looking to manage stress, heal from past experiences, improve communication, build confidence, or reconnect with your sense of purpose.
