During our first session we will be discussing what goals you want to set for yourself, what you want to get out of therapy and consistent weekly therapy sessions to maintain progress.
I am a solution focused therapist. For example: If you are having intrusive thoughts, depression or anxiety, I will provide a cognitive behavior therapeutic approach so that you can begin to re-frame your thinking therefore changing feelings and actions helping you feel better.
I serve clients with anxiety/depression and trauma experiences. When you are ready to feel better and gain a different perspective on how your past experiences can impact your present experiences I am here for you to get on the path to healing.
I have used CBT for many years. I find it most helpful and beneficial for depression, anxiety and some OCD symptoms.
ACT is beneficial for Autism, as well as anxiety and depression.
I have had a wide range of couples counseling experience. I use the TEMPO method to aid couples in active listening, reflections and conflict resolution.
I have many years of experience with trauma informed care. I use mindfulness techniques and shadow work to aid in getting to the root of the trauma, creating a treatment plan that will benefit moving through trauma work.
