New to Grow
I am a compassionate mental health professional with over 13 years of experience who is committed to helping individuals, couples and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and purpose. I bring a strong background in counseling and psychology, with experience supporting clients across a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma and emotional regulation.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
A first therapy session can be intimidating but rest assured we will walk through the session at the pace that feels good for you. The initial session is an information gathering session where we discuss why you are seeking therapy and historical data. This session is less about deep therapeutic work and more about setting the foundation for the ongoing therapeutic relationship.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and YTT 200 trained Yoga Instructor what stands out most about my therapeutic approach is the integration of nervous system–informed care with embodied, trauma-responsive practice. This combination is powerful and distinctive in treating anxiety, trauma and other phase of life issues.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered, integrating practical tools with deeper emotional insight. I believe healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and intentional action, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they build healthier patterns and greater confidence in themselves.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use a collaborative approach with goal setting, psychoeducation, and homework (like journaling or behavioral experiments) to actively change how thoughts influence emotions and actions.
Somatic
I am a YTT 200 trained Yoga Instructor who uses breathwork and movement to address stored emotions specifically related to PTSD and trauma.
Trauma Informed Care
I currently hold the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) Certification to address trauma.
Polyvagal Therapy
I helps clients understand their autonomic nervous system (ANS) to move from survival states (fight/flight/freeze) to a state of safety.
