Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s often the beginning of meaningful change. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping adults and parents work through anxiety, stress, ADHD, and difficult life transitions. My style is practical, supportive, and focused on real-life solutions. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts and behaviors affect how they feel, and to develop tools that create lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope might change in your life. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—many people come to therapy simply knowing that something isn’t working the way they want it to. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current stressors, and goals, and together we’ll begin identifying helpful directions for our work. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to combine experience, practical strategies, and a genuine understanding of the challenges people face in everyday life. With over 15 years in the mental health field, I’ve worked with individuals and families across many different settings, which helps me meet clients where they are and adapt my approach to their specific needs. My style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on practical progress. I often use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also equip people with real tools they can use in their daily lives. Clients often appreciate that I’m straightforward, approachable, and focused on helping them move toward meaningful change rather than staying stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults and parents who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or stretched thin by the demands of work, relationships, and family life. Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, ADHD, stress, or navigating major life transitions. They are often thoughtful and capable people who feel frustrated that the strategies they’ve tried on their own aren’t working the way they hoped. Clients who tend to do well in my practice are open to reflection, willing to learn practical skills, and motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together, we focus on understanding patterns that keep people stuck and building tools that improve emotional balance, relationships, and day-to-day functioning. My goal is to help clients move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling more clear, capable, and in control of their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps people identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges. Together, we work to build skills that improve coping, increase emotional regulation, and create lasting behavioral change in everyday life.

Strength-Based

Utilize positive techniques to manage thoughts and negative feedback loop thinking to re engage using strengths to create a more manageable ability to go on with day to day tasks.
