I’m a trauma therapist who helps people feel like themselves again. Many of the folks I work with are used to pushing through, staying busy, or holding everything together on their own. In our work together, we slow things down, process what’s been weighing on you, and help your nervous system feel safer so you can move through life with more ease and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what’s been bringing you to therapy. We’ll go at your pace—there’s no pressure to share everything right away. My goal is for you to leave that first meeting feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths as a therapist is helping people feel both supported and gently challenged. I bring warmth, curiosity, and honesty into the room, while also helping you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach blends trauma-informed care with practical tools so that insight turns into meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and used to being the strong one. On the outside they often look like they’re holding things together, but internally there may be anxiety, overthinking, or a sense of always being on edge. They might stay busy to avoid slowing down, yet certain memories, reactions, or patterns keep showing up. They’re ready to understand what’s been driving those patterns and start feeling more grounded, confident, and at ease in their lives.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps us notice the stories our minds tell and how they shape our choices. Instead of trying to ignore or shut out difficult thoughts or feelings, we practice making space for them while still moving toward what matters most to you. Together we’ll work on loosening the intensity of anxiety, self-criticism, or avoidance so you can make choices based on your values rather than fear.

EMDR

EMDR helps the brain process experiences that still feel stuck or overwhelming. When trauma hasn’t been fully processed, it can show up as anxiety, shame, panic, or feeling constantly on guard. Using EMDR, we’ll gently help your nervous system reprocess these memories so they lose their intensity and you can move forward with more clarity and ease.

Eclectic

Overall, I take an integrative approach, drawing from several evidence-based therapies—including EMDR, somatic work, ACT, and parts work—to meet your needs. Some sessions may focus on processing past experiences, while others build coping tools for navigating daily life. The goal is always to use the approaches that best support your healing and long-term change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS recognizes that we all have different “parts” of ourselves—some that protect us, some that carry pain, and some that step in when things feel overwhelming. Rather than pushing these parts away, we get curious about them. IFS can feel weird ant first, but it often helps you build more self-trust, compassion, and a greater sense of internal calm.

Relational

Our relationships shape how we see ourselves and the world. In relational therapy, we pay attention to patterns that may still be showing up in your life—like difficulty trusting, feeling responsible for everything, or struggling to express your needs. Therapy becomes a space to explore those patterns and experience a healthier, more authentic way of relating.
