I have been providing individualized and interest focused therapy options for multiple age groups for over 5 years. I do not use a one sized fit all approach to treatment and will use personalized interests to include in treatment. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The main idea behind CBT is that negative feelings or thoughts about yourself or a situation can lead to distress that contributes or develops into a mental health issue. This short-term approach focuses on ways to address these unhelpful and problematic thoughts or patterns. We will work to identify the thought patterns, how they negatively impact you and find ways to replace the negative thoughts or behaviors with ones that are positive and useful.

Play Therapy

In an age appropriate manner, therapy is provided in the form of play. This allows the child to express themselves in a format that feels comfortable.

Couples Counseling

We provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families with different types of needs that include mental health disorders, communication issues, daily stressors and trauma related life experiences. We use an individualized, culturally sensitive, and integrated approach to provide treatment and assist our clients in creating healthy coping mechanisms.

Trauma-Focused CBT

The main idea behind Trauma-Based therapy is that traumatic experiences impact your mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This approach is focused on understanding the connection between the traumatic experience and your emotional and behavioral responses. We will work to obtain skills and strategies to better understand, cope with and process emotions and memories related to the traumatic experience.
