(she/her)
Hi! I’m a licensed therapist with years of experience helping clients deal with anxiety and depression. I also love to help with relationship issues and self empowerment. I seek to provide a safe space for you to share your concerns and issues and hope we can work together to make your life feel more joyful and under control! Let’s chat!
Let’s start by getting to know one another. I can lead us, don’t worry! I’ll need some basic information from you but once we get that out of the way it’s just “chatting!” We can get to the main issue(s) when you’re ready!
I honestly care. I’m here because I want to be. I’d like to be of help.
I feel that I’m a good listener and that I can help clients feel relaxed so they can open up about their lives in a safe space. I have experience with getting to the root of an issue and helping a client find a path forward that makes sense!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I predominantly utilize CBT as it seems useful in most therapeutic situations. We all apply our own background and experiences to our issues and an outsider’s view can be helpful and give some different perspective and I feel that is my role in a therapeutic relationship.
Gottman method
I’ve enjoyed reading and training on this method of approaching issues in relationships and fine it to “make sense”. I lean into this approach when working with couples
Narrative
I believe that helping someone build a framework for u deranging their own experiences or even trauma can be very helpful and often work on building a narrative w a client if possible.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
This approach is very helpful in my opinion as it supports the client and provides tools useful immediately but also as they move forward.

Julie is the first therapist I've had and I couldn't be happier with our session. Looking forward to many more!

Just meeting Julie for the first time and it was amazing! We hit the ground running and she gave the me great ideas to navigate my issues with my daughter, my two jobs and personal life. She is a great listener and she feels like your cheerleader, with her great support and understanding!
