I am someone who believes all people have the capacity to heal, grow, and live fully when given the right support. I recognize that life has many challenges and sometimes we just need help in facing the obstacles in our way. I became interested in psychology and understanding people after my brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and I saw a drastic change in who he was as a person. This journey of trying to understand people, started in middle school, continued through college where I fell in love with Psychology, and into my masters program where I got a degree in Social Work. I started a career as a mental health therapist in 2019, and I continue my journey of learning and growing to better serve the needs of my clients now and in the future.
In our first session I will gather a lot of information about you and what brings you to therapy. We will establish what goals you want to work on, what has or hasn't worked for you in the past, and how you want to proceed.
I would say a big strength I have is being flexible/adaptable to the person I'm working with. No two people are the same, so no two people will have the same exact approach for treatment. I think it's important to not what others believe my strengths are as well so I have included a summary of reviews left by my clients, that you can find on my Zocdoc page. With a calm and approachable presence, she creates a space that feels safe, collaborative, and genuinely human—something especially appreciated by clients navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Kaylee is praised for her realism paired with empathy, offering tools that are not only thoughtful but practical. Her ability to listen deeply while empowering clients to set realistic goals has helped many feel understood, supported, and more in control of their daily lives. Clients often say sessions with Kaylee feel less like clinical appointments and more like authentic conversations—with warmth, presence, and even the occasional appearance of her “kitty cohosts” to ease the moment.
Anybody who wants to improve themselves and their lives, proactive in setting goals and working to better their wellbeing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT informed strategies, to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We identify current problems occurring in your life and find strategies for proactive solutions.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I take an IFS-informed, parts-based approach, helping you understand different “parts” of yourself—such as inner critics or protective voices—and where they may have developed. For example, if a part of you says “You’re useless if you don’t succeed,” we would explore its role and work toward creating more balance and self-compassion.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Every individual has inner strengths and the ability to grow and change. With person centered strategies, we explore your strengths and I support you with honesty and respect towards goals you want to accomplish.
Trauma Informed Care
No matter how long ago your trauma occurred, it can still feel like a heavy weight preventing you from moving forward. In trauma informed care I would help you understand the impact trauma has had on your brain and ways of functioning. You would not be pressured to speak on hard things you are not yet ready to address. Instead we go at a pace you feel comfortable and explore how to find physical, emotional, and psychological safety.
