Hello! My name is Arashi, although I would prefer to be called Ari. I believe you are the expert of your own experience and I am grateful to be considered to be part of your journey. Embarking on the self work and healing journey can be scary, and it is important to prioritize taking care of your mental health to lead a peaceful and fulfilled life. I will guide and support you throughout your therapeutic journey, you don’t have to do it alone! As a FL Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH#24046) and PA Licensed Professional Counselor (PC018981), I specialize working with individuals who struggle or have struggled with narcissistic abuse, family/relationship issues, immigrants struggling with acculturation & the current political climate. I support LGBTQIA individuals as well as young professionals & college students seeking to better understand themselves.
Clients can expect to feel hope and empowerment as we work together to achieve their specific goals. The sessions are client driven and I work with you to identify your therapeutic needs. I provide a relaxed environment and gentle approach.
I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to support and encourage you to achieve your goals in therapy. I use a holistic and trauma informed approach, as well as evidence based practices, and various therapeutic modalities and techniques depending on your individual needs.
I love working with adults who may be experiencing difficult life transitions, relationship issues, self esteem issues, complex family dynamics, grief, LGBTQ, survivors of narcissistic abuse, etc. My ideal client is eager to learn, grow, change and embrace their healing journey.
I utilize and emphasize your strengths in order to support you in overcoming challenges.
I have a trauma informed background and utilize it to assist potential clients in establishing a safe space.
I utilize techniques such as reframing and psycho education to support potential clients in challenging unhelpful thoughts and reframing them. I support clients in understanding how thoughts may influence feelings and behaviors, and impact your life.
I use various DBT techniques to assist clients in improving mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.

I’ve only had one session so far but I love how comfortable Ari makes you feel and I think this will really help me.

Ari is amazing! She makes me realize how helpful therapy is in my situation and how much better off I am by doing the work that she makes me do. At the same time, I feel protected and safe, but pushed to take a hard look at what is really happening in my life at this time. When I feel like it is all too much, she gives me the courage to keep going and the hope that there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Thank you sooo much!
