Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). I obtained my masters degree from NOVA Southeastern University. I have been practicing since 2015; I started out at a homeless shelter, moved to in-home family/parenting therapy and from there worked at a local high school for several years. Meanwhile, I was building my private practice working with clients suffering from addiction. Currently, I run my own private practice working with teens and adults looking for support for a variety of concerns.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

If you are looking for a therapist who provides a warm, sometimes humorous, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for growth and healing, I am here to help. My focus is on creating a supportive and comfortable environment where you can feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have extensive experience in working with teens, those struggling with OCD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflicts. I use evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma focused therapy and solution focused therapy to help you overcome these challenges and improve your mental health.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

In my practice, I specialize in working with teens, adults, and other professional clinicians who are seeking support and guidance to overcome life's challenges. Whether you're facing personal struggles, navigating difficult relationships, or dealing with traumatic experiences, I am here to help you find solutions and move forward. I believe in a collaborative approach, where you are the expert on your own experiences, and I am here to support you on your journey. Together, we will work towards achieving your goals and breaking free from any barriers holding you back.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help change negative, cognitive distortions and teach my clients the power changing their thoughts has on their emotional outlook.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is used to gather information, identify and elicit change and help me identify the greatest need.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused treatment is used in cases where there is a very specific, identifiable problem.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed care is a treatment method I have extensive training in and is used in all sessions, at all times. I am not the expert on the client, the client is the expert.
