I’m a licensed mental health counselor that meets you where you are — literally and emotionally. Through secure telehealth sessions, I help adults work through anxiety, trauma, burnout, life transitions, and all the messy in-between moments. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and deeply human. No judgment. No pretense. Just real talk, real healing, and real tools you can use.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and how to effectively work together to help work through the challenges that brought you to counseling.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prioritize the mind body connection and aim to help you improve your quality of life. My goal is to give you tools to take with you throughout this journey we call life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with veterans, justice-involved individuals, first responders, and anyone who’s carrying more than they show. Therapy with me is a collaborative space where you can unpack what’s weighing you down and begin building a life that actually feels good.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I help folks develop psychological flexibility by accepting their thoughts and feelings, rather than trying to control them, and by committing to actions that align with their values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help bring awareness to the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and different ways to manage these components to reduce reported symptoms.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I help folks learn coping skills to practice mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and distress tolerance.

Humanistic

I incorporate this approach into sessions by using active listening, empathetic understanding, and unconditional positive regard, all aimed at helping you feel understood, accepted, and empowered.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize this approach for folks wanting to find a solution to their current problems; I include the miracle question, scaling questions, and exception-finding in effort to keep the client forward focus.
