(she/her)
I’m a second-generation Cuban-American Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Orlando, FL. I help adults manage ADHD, anxiety, stress, and self-esteem challenges by creating a supportive, down-to-earth, and culturally affirming space where you can feel understood and empowered. My approach is authentic, compassionate, and collaborative, focused on helping you reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of purpose. Let’s find your spark together.
In our first session together, you can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where we begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, and we’ll explore what you're hoping to get out of our work together.
As a provider, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to show up as a real, relatable person in the therapy room. I don’t believe in putting on a therapist “mask”; what you see is what you get. I’m warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in getting to know you, not just your symptoms. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’re constantly second-guessing yourself, and I bring that understanding into the way I support others. I balance empathy with honesty, and I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that may be getting in your way, while always honoring your pace and your values. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental. Whether we’re unpacking anxiety, navigating ADHD, or rebuilding self-worth, I meet you with authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. You don’t have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
My ideal client is committed to engaging in the therapeutic process to identify and address unhelpful patterns of behavior and thought. They may be neurodivergent, experiencing depression or anxiety, or facing challenges in adapting to life changes. This person is motivated to explore their thoughts, emotions, and reactions, with a focus on making meaningful changes in their life.
I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by identifying their values, increasing present-moment awareness, and learning to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings with acceptance rather than avoidance.
I incorporate attachment theory to explore how early relationship patterns impact current connections. This approach helps clients develop healthier, more secure relationships with themselves and others.
I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and accepted. By offering empathy and unconditional positive regard, I support clients in tapping into their own capacity for growth and healing.
