Hi! I'm Vicki, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Behavior Analyst. Are you struggling with problems that have a negative impact on your quality of life? Tired of trying to figure out how to change things on your own? I would love to work with you to help you sort through those things that are keeping you from living the life you want to enjoy. I enjoy the art of applying a unique blend of mental health and behavioral approaches to life's problems. I love supporting motivated individuals to identify those areas of their lives that are standing in the way of experiencing the high quality life they want and deserve. Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, family issues, overwhelm, anxiety or depression, I am here to help you identify what's not working in your life and get you to a place of balance and inner calm. Together, we can create a safe space for you to share and develop new skills. As we work together, I can provide you with research- and evidence-based tools and techniques to address those problematic life areas. I look forward to working together!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. We'll look at what's challenging for you, what's getting in the way of your hopes and dreams, or just everyday frustrations. Try to find a way to "fix" what's broken and cope with what can't be fixed.
My strengths lie in diagnosing problems that affect quality of life, targeting those areas that are problematic and providing guidance and direction to develop effective alternatives to life problems. I have been a behavior analyst working with children, adolescents, and families for over 35 years. My techniques are solution-based, well researched and validated, and based in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis. I specialize in anxiety disorders, ADHD, and depression. I believe in finding and developing real-life solutions to real-life problems.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
The primary goal of CBT is to teach you ways to approach thoughts differently so when they do come, you don’t have to buy into them or let yourself believe your negative thoughts. CBT works to identify thoughts that contribute to your emotional distress and influence you to behave in negative ways.

She’s so kind and wise. Would recommend if you are nervous to try therapy.

I wanted a woman therapist who was near my age. She was someone who had experienced life's upset and downs. From my first session I felt she was paying attention and understood what I was telling her. She had the skills to help me understand my very difficult family of origin situation and challenges in order to find some peace of mind.
