As a dedicated mental health professional with a background as a first responder, I understand the profound impact trauma and addiction can have on individuals. I specialize in helping those facing trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and grief by employing evidence-based therapies tailored to every client’s unique needs. I have spent my life working with high-intensity populations and have had the privilege of creating supportive environments, fostering resilience, and helping people achieve lasting recovery. Together, we can navigate your path to healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During their first session, clients can expect a welcoming and open environment where they will have the opportunity to get to know me as both a person and a provider. This session is designed to establish rapport and trust, which are crucial for a successful therapeutic relationship. A significant part of this initial meeting will involve completing a biopsychosocial assessment. This process allows me to gather a comprehensive overview of any client's background, including biological, psychological, and social factors that may influence their well-being. By collecting this extensive data in a relatively short time, I gain valuable insights into a client's unique situation and needs. Overall, clients will leave the first session with a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, a sense of connection, and a solid foundation to jump-start their healing journey.

Additionally, my background working with first responders and military personnel, both active duty and veterans, equips me with a unique understanding of the challenges they face.
