My name is Nicole and I am a licensed psychotherapist. I have been helping people to improve their mental health and wellbeing for nearly ten years. I work with individuals from all walks of life. I specialize in women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and trauma. I also have a great deal of experience with anxiety, depression, and grief. I believe that everyone needs someone to talk to. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, cooking, reading, crochet, and animal rescue. I’m so happy that you have found me and I look forward to starting our therapy journey.
After our first session, you can expect to feel heard and validated. Your thoughts and feelings matter. Our sessions will be a safe space for you to express yourself and explore all of the issues that are important to you. You have the power to change your life and I want to help you tap into that power.
My approach to treatment is customized, based on your individual needs. I often utilize psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I will provide you with psycho-educational information and resources, to help you better understand and navigate the psychological processes that might be affecting you.
As someone who has faced my own challenges, I have a unique understanding of the trauma, loss, or emotional distress that you might be experiencing. In my practice, I focus on compassion, communication, and connection.
