Hi there, I'm Jamie. In life, do you often feel as if you are driving alone down a dark road and are sometimes overcome with the burdens of everyday life? Is it hard for you to be kind to yourself? Do you feel that depression or anxiety is taking away your joy? Let me help you get that joy back. Seeking therapy can be scary but you are making the right choice. You are in the driver's seat. I am merely a passenger, with the necessary tools to assist you in finding the light at the end of the tunnel. I utilize an interpersonal approach that is specific to your needs to assess the situation and provide guidance along the way. My goal is to meet you where you are in your journey and help you get where you want to be. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll help you with compassion and evidence-based techniques, so you can overcome the 3 H’s – hangups, hardships, and habits- that are holding you back. I can't wait to meet and talk so we can work together to reach your goals!
In our first session together we will walk through what your present situation is and your current hangups to allow me to better determine a plan of action for the following sessions.
The biggest strength I bring to therapy is my ability to have empathy for my clients and being able to build healthy relationships with them to assist them in meeting their own needs.

Jamie has completely changed the way I see myself - in the best way. She is so kind and compassionate, but honest and knowledgeable. The thought of therapy terrified me and almost made me not go (when I really needed it,) but I now find myself looking forward to our sessions. I always thought therapy would feel like I was being studied by my therapist, but that couldn't be further from the truth with Jamie. She is a solid foundation of support for me, and I will forever be grateful.
