I believe that Person-Centered therapy should be the cornerstone of each psychotherapy session, and it helps clients take a more active role in their treatment and keeps the client’s wishes and goals at the front of the therapy.
One of the core benefits of DBT is its emphasis on emotional regulation. Individuals undergoing DBT learn to identify and label their emotions accurately, which is a critical step in managing emotional responses. DBT equips individuals with skills to reduce their vulnerability to negative emotions and to build positive emotional experiences. By doing so, individuals can maintain a more balanced and stable emotional state, which significantly enhances their overall well-being.
