Are your relationships with others not what you would like them to be? Do you feel like you are not living up to your "full potential" and serving your life purpose? The stressors of life can weigh us down at times. I want to help you take the first step toward making lasting change in your life. Together we will identify strengths as well as life challenges that will help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Our first appointment will be a time for us to get to know one another. You can tell me as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing with me. Towards the end of the session, I will check in with you to see if you are comfortable and want to continue together. If so, we can discuss further the goals that you would like to address, issues that you would like to work on, if you would like someone else to be a part of the healing process with you, how frequently you would like to meet, and so on. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable, please do not feel like you will offend me or hurt my feelings. I know many other reputable counselors that I can refer you to. Along those same lines, we as counselors have our own unique areas of interest. If something comes up in the first session or even later on down the road that I feel is not my area of expertise or is outside of my comfort zone, I have my "go to" people to refer you who specialize in areas that I do not. I want to make sure that you get what you need whether that is with me or with another provider.
If you need someone to listen without judgment, I encourage you to take the next step and reach out. I will work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other providers in the community to ensure a well rounded approach to your mental, physical and spiritual health. I am available by phone or email and welcome any questions that you may have.
I offer telehealth services to residents of Kentucky, Indiana and Florida. I provide a Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy sessions. I work with clients experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship issues.
I help clients recognize negative thought patterns and faulty beliefs that hinder their progress. Once we have identified these barriers, we can begin to instill healthier, more productive ideas.
