Hello. My name is Angie Olson and am a licensed clinical social worker, LCSW. I’m located in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up in Southern California. I graduated with a bachelor's in social work from the University of Southern Indiana in 2008 and graduated with a master's in social work from Spalding University in 2012. I have eight years of experience providing individual and group therapy. Therapy is not just a job for me, it’s a passion.
Our first session will include introductions and any initial questions you may have. We will explore your history and current challenges. This information will help to determine a tailored treatment plan and therapeutic treatment model to use in future therapy sessions. You will have “homework” to do between sessions helping to apply the tools learned in sessions. You can expect to receive quality therapeutic Telehealth sessions.
I provide compassion and empathy as we build a therapeutic relationship.
I love working with adults, and couples who are looking for help managing difficult mental health symptoms.

Compassion Focused
I believe the most important characteristic of a therapist is compassion and empathy. I show both in all areas of practice.

I love meeting with you I too look forward to our sessions because you make me think and when you give me a task I take that challenge and do it! You make me see things I would never of thought of I see another way to do things. And I love it

Very friendly, down to earth, yet, I feel she will not sugar coat anything. I felt that this was really about me and my needs. Thank you

I honestly didn’t know what to expect from anyone and I was nervous to start. But she was very comforting but straight forward as well, which I liked. She seems to be a great therapist!
